Top town to stop and stay. Made very welcome at the local pub. Was great to learn about the specific type of wombat, that is nearly extinct. Glad we where able to climb on it too.

Harvest time at Thallon busy time of the year the Thallon pub is a must for a great meal and a cold beer or what ever takes your fancy.

We have been coming out from Brisbane since 2019 and have brought our three dogs here.First was Buddy in 2019 but he died 2021. Then was Charlotte in 2021 now Lilly in 2022. The town has made a beautiful area with the Wombat and facilities

Northern Hairy Nosed Wombat sculpture.Kids can climb on him.Also a good play equipment park and very clean public amenities.
