Used them about a year ago.Don't be put off by the workshop, it is a bit messyThe work was outstanding!He's an old school smash repairer. He will spend the time talking with you and will have an intelligent conversation with you.When we used him, here wasn't NRMA premium approved but as I found out, that really didn't matter, his service was awesome, his attention to detail outstanding and his pride in his work was top notch.Could he do with modernising his workshop? Yeah, as far as computerising his invoicing etc. He hand wrote our quote which my wife was totally impressed by. Not scrawly writing either, but lovely flowing writing back in the day when you had to write legibly and your written word was an expression of yourselfWe got our van fixed there, not through my insurance but through someone else's which complicated matters around signing off to get the work done but he accommodated us without being pedantic (he had to protect his interests).I'd certainly go back if I need a smash repair done

Rick and his lovely wife run a very friendly; rather old school small smash repair shop in The Shire. Rick has over 35 years of hands - on experience with all kinds of vehicles and is an expert mechanic in all types of auto - motor repairs; auto restorations and full auto - booth painting. His attention to small details is amazing and his work rate is first - rate. He does small and also large jobs with a completly professional attitude and the proactive approach. He is one of best in the Shire, perhaps NSW - in his field . He just loves cars ! His quotes are spot on - as you would expect - and delve into his earned wealth of auto - knowledge and life experience ! He will solve ALL your auto - problems there and then and leave a smile on your face ! See an old E - Type Jaguar being brought back to life by an expert restorer in a garage with old school racy pins - up and model cars stuck on old shelves, etc. Honest and direct ; friendly ; up - front and a just great nice guy to deal with all types of tricky car repairs and sorting out those rather hard auto - painting issues. My white HONDA car never looked better after seeing Rick !!!! 100 % Recommended !
