Just had an absolutely wonderful three night stay with my wife. Really spacious and comfortable room 07. Staff were tremendous. Jessica is real character and thoroughly professional. William and Jenny were so nice. They all made sure our stay was fabulous. Our meal from Circa 1876 restaurant was just magnificent. Best dessert ever. Breakfasts really good. Very idyllic location with stunning arcade entry. History of The Convent is fascinating. BIG THANK YOU xx

Stunning location but the high tea we experienced was very average. You would expect a lot better for the price. Very disappointing. Would not recommend.

The Convent - High TeaThe high tea was atrocious and a total rip off $60 per person - you get premade basic sandwiches and store bought cakes and sweets from coles. Absolutely ruined our occasion and get away. Tried to give constructive feedback to the waitress.. wouldn't hear of it and didn't want to listen. All i can say is - no wonder we were the only customers there on a Sunday lunchtime. Very disappointed and never felt so ripped off

I just went to book a few nights stay in November for our 10 year wedding anniversary as this is where we got married. I spoke with them yesterday, confirmed dates with my wife overnight and called back today to book. The price for 2 nights stay had gone up overnight from $948 to $1198. Not only could the consultant not explain the reason for this price hike, she was extremely rude in her response and asked me why didnt I just book it yesterday?" When I asked why the price had gone up by $250 overnight for the the exact same thing

We just spent a fantastic weekend at the Convent . The location is fabulous and the building is beautiful. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. Great food .will definitely be heading back to the Convent again

Rooms were nice but very basic for the price. I think there is better value elsewhere. That said, people greater than 60 years of age with some extra cash would possibly like this as a great base for wine tastings. I can’t fault the friendly team at the convent for their courtesy and willingness to help at every opportunity.

Just spent an amazing afternoon enjoying a fabulous high tea at Eighty Eight at The Convent. Great service, yummy food and the overall ambience made this a memorable experience. We’re definitely returning and highly recommend!

Gorgeous place to get ready for your Hunter Valley Wedding! Whether your ceremony is down the road at Circa or somewhere else in the Pokolbin region this place is my top 3! The grounds are always well kept and i think the best time of year for the florals is autumn and spring for photos.
