Fairmount Homes.....a very big name......but the people working for them are spoiling the name. I am one of the resident of Adelaide South Australia. They have started a construction site in my adjusting lot. It is very unprofessional for them to start work at 5am disturbing the sleep of my family and people living around. It's not one day , it's every day. When I got out and requested to stop and start after 7am they did not listen and continued their work. One of them said you can sleep later when we finish when I said to him that they have disturbed my sleep starting their work at 5am. So rude and unprofessional for the the builder like Fairmount. Another one asked me to go back inside my house and said we will continue doing what we are doing and not to argue with them. He said you do what you want to do and will keep on doing what we are doing. So arrogant and rude. So they don't care about anyone around but do what they want to do.Here is my humble request to the management, to look into this matter and please ask your employees to be polite and above all professional. Ask them to please follow the rules of starting their jobs after 7am and not before that.I am very disappointed and unhappy and just hoping for the positive outcome.

I recently purchased a home from Fairmont Homes and I couldn't be happier with the experience. From the very start, the communication with the sales team was excellent. They were always quick to respond to any questions I had and were very helpful in guiding me through the process.Once construction began, our site supervisor was amazing. He was always available to answer any questions or address any concerns I had, and was very efficient in resolving any minor issues that arose. The quality of the home is outstanding, it exceeded my expectations. The finishes and fittings are of a higher standard than I had expected, and I am extremely pleased with the outcome.I would highly recommend Fairmont Homes to anyone looking to build a new home. They truly exceeded my expectations and I am so grateful for the beautiful home they have built for my family.

We have built with Fairmont previously and had no issues. Now I could not recommend this builder. They were months behind with not even a care in regards to the impact it has on us.***** beware as 2.7m ceilings were provide as a free upgrade it meant they didn’t have to pay compensation for not meeting completion date *******The quality of workmanship is below standard. We conducted our final walk through and nothing was completed all they did was remove the tape highlighting the defects and then denied that’s what happened.Getting them to come back or having any communication from them is impossible. Once they have your money they don’t care.It’s been an absolute disgrace dealing with the company.Site manager Dave has no control or are about his trades or the quality of his work. We have had to chase Fairmont the whole process with no reply.Even these reviews are ignored by them.

It’s still early days with our build, however, I wanted to share how happy my partner and I are with our experience with the team at Fairmont so far.Chloe, Sophie, Kirri and Amy have all been great to communicate with and I really appreciate the effort taken to answer all of the questions I have had so far as a first time builder.Building can be stressful but you guys have made it very easy!The reception staff are also really easy to communicate with.Many thanks

I felt it would be unfair if I did not write a review for Fairmont even-though I did not proceed with the build due to unforeseen personal reasons. I met this lovely and professional sales person, Luke Townsend who was extremely capable, professional and timely in his dealings during the negotiating stages. If I was to proceed with the build, I would definitely have used Fairmont, since I was even impressed by their range of products offered for selections.Great work Luke, Keep it up!Cheers!Anthony

We have had an amazing experience building with Fairmont homes. We couldn't be happier with the whole experience. Our site supervisor was very professional and kept us in the loop throughout the process as we were living remote whilst the build was taking place. The quality of the work from the tradies was great, we really couldn't fault anything and the few minor issues that needed rectifying were taken care of promptly.

Some of the staff are unbelievably painful to deal with and they are never available when you call them. Constantly felt like I was banging my head against a brick wall. The process took forever and they refused to fix any of the issues I highlighted at handover. Follow up was poor and the selections didn’t match what I asked for. Once they have your money, they don’t give a monkeys. Not an enjoyable process at all.

Even though I did not end up building with Fairmont I felt I should write up our consultant, Luke Townsend. From the start he absolutely bent over backwards to help me. He met us at the selections studio to show us through before we even paid a deposit! He spent hours on the phone and zoom to me, going over plans and changes until I was entirely happy.Absolute gem of an employee to Fairmont.

Your email to us said that we can choose either one of the inspectors from your database or we can source my own inspector if we need an independent building inspector to do stage construction inspections. When we called and spoke to your customer service on the phone we would use our own inspector, he said that it was not allowed and we had to select one of the inspector from your database.Why is that? It seems our right and Fair Trading are violated.I tried to upload a snippet of your email with a list of the inspection companies, somehow google did not show it. We recently built our dream home with Fairmont Homes over the last 2.5 years and could not be happier.As expected with anything of this scale it hasn't come without it's challenges but Fairmont were open, honest and respectful towards my wife and I and have actively responded and resolved numerous minor issues so we could call this house a home.Special mentions to Joel, Tom, Gary, Daniela and all the others names I cant remember :)
