I rang this company SA branch twice and their sales rep twice over a week and a half left messages and recieved no calls back so I used another company waste of time contacting them

This place is rubbish, we have told them for 6 months to not come at 3 am in the morning to pick up our rubbish since our gates close at 7 am. They continue to show up and charge us even though they never picked up our rubbish. If we never called them they would have never given us our money back. The driver leaves notes on their system telling them the gates where closes but they never call us to let us know. They gave us the option to only give them a remote to a private business or to leave bins outside where anyone can take our rubbish. Every-time I call them they act like they are going to call us back but they never do. Terrible business

This company is a less ideal to deal with. They are not greatly responsive and often have long waits for call to be answered. The fees have increased by 90% since 2014 for the service, I reduced the service to fortnightly so they increased the pick up price. They have more than excessive late fees which in the context of the monthly fees are ridiculous.(a late fee that represents over 90% of the monthly fee) Initially they were good but are now not meeting my business' needs, I am now going elsewhere. This is space with lots of competitors, do not settle for this.

This is the first review I have ever done…. This company is so bad that I just have to review. Poor service to say the least and more than double the cost of other suppliers… how they are still in business is beyond me. They said they will review rates if asked but if not asked they just rip you off. If you are still with this company get a quote from another supplier you will find you are over paying! If you are a small business… AVOID.

Absolute con artists. One of my bar managers got in touch to request another bin and the rep tricked him into signing for another whole year. “Just initial here on my iPhone and I’ll get the new bin sorted for you” - we challenged them on this incredibly unethical behaviour and they have told us we have to pay over 10k to get out of that same contract! There has to be some way of bringing these crooks to justice, please read all of the 1 star reviews and don’t even consider this company for your waste services. We are now trapped in a contract and will be terminating on the day it’s done. Shameful.

Garbage collection truck speeding at least 10klm over speed limit west Ryde Victoria Rd approximately 5.28am.

Jj Richards have zero care for there customers constantly not picking up rubbish at my restaurant and leaving us with no where to place rubbish so piles up and then they don’t collect as it’s to full. They refuse to void the contract but they can’t even fulfil there contractual obligation such a poor company don’t do it stay away.

I would give JJ’s zero stars if I could. In the last week I booked four collections and three were missed. We had an huge event which was why we’d booked the extra collections. Over the last month around 80% of our collections have been missed. There’s no way to be notified if your bins aren’t collected so we generally find out the next day when we have rats and open rubbish everywhere. We had to hire cleaners to take away the rubbish privately.

The sales rep are 7stars to get you signed to the contract.The past 1 year service been great,Recently, i dont know what happened,The customer service is so slow, and the driver did not pick up and made mistakes and missed pick up, leaves the business into chaos..

After finding this site I did not know that other customer has bad experience with JJ Richards. I cannot agree on anymore of what has been said about them. Getting you to sign is easy but getting out is hard especially with their one way contract and ridiculous price increase. My contract still got a few months to go but paying more than double the price that i first signed with them. The funny bit is they never get in touch with you until you want to terminate the contract then they want your business. They will automatically reduce price but you have to sign for another year. So you are always locked into their unfair contracts. I would not recommend them to anyone or use their services in the future. I have paid an hefty price of not reading the contract carefully.
