Food Forage Kangaroo Valley Tour. So today we were suppose to do a 9km hike in Kangaroo Valley, with poor communication we ended up on an oval with tents for our food stop. We completely understand there was a threat of storms that never came however, the email we recieved was far from clear that our day was to be spent on an oval. For nearly 400 dollars per couple, we felt far from impressed. We were left to move from tent to tent at our speed but no coordination to move the groups forward. 3+ hours later we were still standing. Love supporting the locals, but this felt far from that. No offer of discount or refund. We still turned up for a hike as that was what we were told to gear up for. Not a great alternative. Needed better management for the money. A bit of a joke and we're not the only ones who felt that, others also thought we would do a reduced hike. A shame because it really was a perfect weather day.
