George and his wife are very friendly to every customer, there food is always cooked fresh to order, and it's always fast and friendly service with a smile they have a great menu with lots to choose from at really affordable prices and there pineapple fritters with sugar are to die for I can't go past without stopping in and buying as many as he has they always remember what I want before I even order I love the place best takeaway in Redfern for sure hands down and probably even the best family fish and chip shop in Sydney

Always stop here for work breaks for a quick bite to eat. Well priced and tasty burgers and chips. Don’t be fooled by the run down signage and area. George does a great job!

Good price and very pleasant people. 5/5 fish and chips just like they are from home none of this over priced styrofoam. Wish they had EFTPOS but probably kicks the prices down. And please start selling a Fisherman's Basket""

Been going here on and off for over a decade. Can't say enough great things about George and his family, the excellent food, and the affordable prices. The food over that time has been so consistent too...only Maccas comes close to consistency lol...that's the great thing about this place. No matter how long we go between visits you're guaranteed to know what you're going to get. And with George it's always like seeing and old friend. A staple in Redfern, a landmark as important as the Redfern Oval just up the road.

Great price and great food cooked my seafood perfect not overcooked like most takeaway shops me and the wife really enjoyed the great value fish and chips here and extremely friendly and high quality of customer service the two owners showed for their customers

George's fish and chips is one of those unlikely places that you would expect to get a good fish and chips. I go here when I have that urge for fish and chips. So far I have never been disappointed, that is over 5 years.
