Great venue many courts. Great venue

I went there for a gem show. It was unreal, had a great time.

There is ample parking, centrally located spacious bathrooms, and the place is maintained pretty well.

A few months ago I fractured my ankle at these courts. Slipped on the dust of the court, I heard a lot of complaints from other players saying how slippery they were.I went three months without playing basketball, it was only a small avulsion fracture so the heal time was short, then I went back to a social comp in cooks hill, and playing on the outdoor courts in Markettown. I get asked to sub for one game at Broadmeadow, and immediately injure myself again.The court quality is terrible, there is no maintenance, and now I can’t play again for a while, which is something I am doing to manage my mental health. The negligence of these courts has taken that from me.Do not play here if you value your ankles

Not bad if you enjoy slipping over on wet floors (apparently we are just meant to play around the towels and wet floors signs). Zero regard for player safety.If you’re lucky, you’ll get 2 13yo’s reffing your game; but most of the time you’ll have one (same price though).About the only thing Newcastle Basketball does well, is make sure your payments are up to date. Do yourself a favour; travel a bit further to Maitland and play in a comp where the organisation cares about basketball, not just money.

Very cold in winter, and lots of echoes make it very difficult for kids to hear instructions from the coach. Lots of courts and they are all set up quite well for scoring etc. Overall, it does the job adequately, but it's nothing to get too excited about.

Great staff and large space

Watched 2 grand daughter 's play. One win one loss. Venue is looking tired.

Hoops are definitely not bent out of place.Referees are SUPER enthusiastic and VERY well trained ;)
