IdaBoss Dog Training

So glad I decided to engage a trainer for my Rottweiler X dog a couple of days after I brought her home. I picked IdaBoss because Jody owns a Rottweiler herself & is a huge advocate of the breed. I didn't know at the time but Jody has a history of owning & working with rescues. I was told that my new dog was very reactive to other dogs while on lead so Jody gave me tips & advice on how to manage this & also a refresher on basic training. Getting training immediately helped me to get off on the right foot & build my confidence to handle my dog. IdaBoss also has regular socialisation walks to help dogs & their owners. I went last night & learnt very quickly that my new dog is only reactive to antisocial dogs who are aggressive to her first. We had a surprisingly pleasant walk & Jody had my back the whole time. We just finished up our last class of puppy preschool and it was such an amazing experience. Jody, Mel, Liz and Paige were so helpful and knowledgeable. Myself and my puppy will absolutely be returning

My family is neuro diverse of 3 kids, 2 adults, and we have a recent puppy join our family. The prospect of typical puppy preschool where only 1 or 2 of us could attend dis not appeal, but Jody from IdaBoss Dog Training tailored an in home training session to help us get started and gave great hands on experience to all members of our family. My partner and I have been feeling so hopeless with our dog’s separation anxiety. We have had a two hour session with IdaBoss Training and we feel like we have a new lease on our lives. Jody explained our dog’s behaviour in a clear and concise way, with homework for us that showed improvements as soon as the following day. All recommendations and advice given was completely force free and based entirely on positive reinforcement only. I can’t begin to tell you just how grateful we are. Our bond with our girl is strengthening so much already ❤️

Jody has excellent dog training knowledge and insight. She genuinely cares about your dog and will identify your training needs as well as those of your dog. As an adult owner of rottweilers since the early 1980’s, I can still learn from trainers like Jody who approach training with intelligence, skill, kindness and commonsense.

Highly recommend Jody and the team. Being a Rottie owner it felt comforting knowing Jody understood the breed inside and out. She took the time to understand our girls story and provided awesome techniques to help us with her behaviour.

We took our little Heidi to 4 weeks of puppy school and graduated today … Justine and Donna are very knowledgeable and friendly. The encouraging nature of the classes was so good for Heidi (Rottweiler puppy) and we can wait to meet up again for the training walks in a couple of weeks

Wonderful lady Jody was to ask for help from day one.We were asking for advice before we even owned a dog, we were invited to spectate at puppy training class to see how they went about it.We had a breed of dog in mind which we were given advice on searching for breeders in all the right direction.Our family cannot recommended Jody & her business enough with the lovely way she is about helping all.
