Second time I have been to her my timing isn't the best but she's great with flexibility. First visit she charged me $40 for 4 braids with extensions and I thought why so cheap and her reasoning was something I hadn't heard ever which is one of the reasons why I went back..Second visit she charged me less for the same work which already was outstanding. Her friendliness and pride is amazing she made me feel like an old friend I hadn't seen in a while.Not only will I be going back for at least the next 6 months but I hope she stays open forever. My only three words are affordable, friendly and impressive.

I have been Laxmi's client for over 10 years, I first went to Bondi Junction and Laxmi was there to help me after I had a awful hair experience with another hairdresser, she was so professional she earn't my trust straightaway.Over the years I went to her in Newtown coming up from the South Coast just for her to perm, colour or cut my Afro hair, she is very attentive, listens to what you want and create's wonderful results, my hair always looks great,she gives fantastic tips about hair to keep it healthy. I now go to her shop in Minto and look forward to having a professional hairdresser who knows and listens to what you and delivers every time.I would recommend Laxmi to all my friends who want a quality hairdresser and be truly happy with her doing their hair. I live in Canberra and I have been taking my daughter to Laxmi for over 7 years. Just before a new term I drive from Canberra to Sydney – not because I cannot get hairdressers in Canberra but because I know Laxmi is the best and despite the long journey when I return home I will be satisfied and happy. She is very professional and the work she does for my daughter (braids or weave) is exceptional. My daughter’s hair is healthy and always looks neat. Laxmi is very honest and cares about her clients. She listens to what the customer wants and offers very good honest advice and delivers on what we want without compromising the health of the hair. For example if she feels a certain style might be hard for my daughter to manage or it might damage the hair line – she will advise us and offer options on what can be done.Laxmi has also been doing my dreadlocks for 3 years and it was the best decision I made for my hair which now always looks neat and well cared for. Even before I go back home in Africa for holidays I go to Laxmi to have my hair done as I would rather she does it. And I know we have amazing talent in Africa but honestly I still prefer Laxmi – this is how much I value and respect her work.I find prices at Laxmi’s salon reasonable, considering the service provided and the end result. I know I can pay less for my hair but what will it cost me in the end? And will this be worth it???Honestly if you are like me and value your hair and your child or children’s hair I would recommend Laxmi. You will get the best professional service provided by a kind and caring person - its amazing!!!

Just got my hair braided here, and I love it. I have been to several braiding salons in Sydney and this is by far the best one. Great customer service and definitely coming back again.
