Blakehurst Motor Inn

Room 207. Unbelievably bad. No glasses, missing light bulbs, fridge needs defrosting, filthy carpets and air conditioner / heater not working at all. Pool full of mud and leaves looking like the black lagoon. A filthy disgusting motel. If you have to stay there ensure you are imunised first!!!!!

Absolutely horrible, I was forced to stay here due to unforeseen circumstances. There was toilet paper stuffed in the air vents, what looked like mould or dirt crammed into every crack in the wall and floor, cigarette butts and burns all over the beds, cockroaches and a filthy carpet. The staff looked just as bad, and were very rude when we requested plates to eat from, (mind you, they still had old food on them) and the cleaning lady just walked into the room at random without even knocking, including when we were getting dressed at around 6am to leave ASAP! I do not recommend this motel unless it can significantly improve their services.

The worst motel in existence. Filthy, smells, vermin present and dirty throughout. The check in staff looked like they just rolled out of a garbage bin. YUK YUK AND DOUBLE YUK.

I have been to many motels all around Australia, some bad ones in the outback, but this takes the cake. Hardly any power points worked, the fridge has not been cleaned in a long time and the bathroom was the worst I have ever seen. When we turned the hot water tap in the sink on, the whole room rattled and still no water came out. The sealing in the shower was black with mould and the mould already had made a hole in the sealing. The biggest joke was that after paying for the room, they wanted a $50 security deposit to make sure that we did not pinch anything. Don't ever stay there; can't understand why the health department hasn't closed this place down

This was the worst place I have ever stayed in. There was cockroaches, the bathroom had a terrible smell, and the TV....was analog. Do yourself a favor and NEVER stay here.

Bit outdated but pretty clean and tidy. Didnt care that some things were broken as they were all cosmetic stuff that did not interfere with comfort

Unfortunately I had the misfortune of staying at the Blakehurst Motor inn last year. I thought I would add my experience so as to warn others before getting caught out and paying for a room that is well below any reasonable expectation of clean and safe. I got to experience 2 rooms in my 2 night stay at the Blakehurst, both were equally as bad. The first had a huge hole in the ceiling of the shower and was full of mold and very unclean all items of furniture and bedding were either stained or broken.All electrical outlets were either broken or had burn marks on them.The second room was not much better. Staff were not very helpful at all and were obviously used to complaints, with a I just work here attitude its not my problem.The stay was cheap at $100 per night but even at that I would expect rooms to be clean and basic electrical and plumbing to be working, and a full ceiling in the shower ( just to stop the water dripping through from the unit above). If Basil Faulty and Manuel had been there I would have got the joke, but they were not. Please do yourself a favor and do not stay here, The only positive thing I can say about the Blakehurst is that when comparing stories with others about the worst place you have stayed I always have the best one, I have kept the photos I took as proof when people say it couldn't be that bad. I encourage all others who have stayed at the Blakehurst to add there photos so as to give others a fair appraisal of what they are to expect.

Absolute disgrace, changed rooms 4 times trying to get a fridge and tv working at same time.place can only improve.
