Ashby Street Medical Centre

This is a great clinic if you need an appointment quickly. Unfortunately my last appointment for my son was just get in get out. We asked for a referral for tonsil surgery and were told to call back when he's well??? I don't get it

Unfortunately there was a longer than expected wait time; noting that I was informed of this upon checking in which was very much appreciated.I began going to the clinic after having a bad experience with a previous clinic and the doctor at Ashby Street was very knowledgeable, made me feel very comfortable, as well as being clear in the delivery of advice given to me.Would definitely recommend and I am grateful to have found a clinic with such great doctors

Always easy to book an appointment and all doctors, support staff are highly professional and personable. A real asset to the town and surrounding areas.

Absolutely wonderful, genuinely friendly GP who listened to me without dismissing my thoughts.Abrupt, almost curt at reception however. It was hard to hear over the echoes and footsteps across the chaos that is wooden floors, though, so it may be circumstantial.But, I felt like I was annoying them somehow. It would be stressful working in such a busy, loud environment with so many appointments to manage. Perhaps understaffed? Otherwise, a lovely well presented clinic.

If I could leave negative five stars I would.This is the worst clinic I have ever been to.I firstly was judged by a doctor regarding my own decisions over my own medical history.I then attended a morning appointment to which I was waiting outside the clinic before it opened along with a few other people (no issue here) however, I was the first person in the waiting area and the doctor still decided to take in a different patient who had an appointment AFTER ME(I know this because she was discussing her appointment time in the waiting room) was therefore still waiting for my appointment an hour later. I was not late to my appointment, I was the first waiting so why would you skip your first patient and keep them waiting and take in someone else?My next appointment I needed to see the nurse, was running late that day, I understand things happen, but when the nurse arrived late instead of coming straight into work for your waiting patients, they decided to have a chat amongst the staff for 10 minutes while everyone waited. I then had to wait even longer because a doctor took their own client in to the nurse.... i feel like they should also have to wait IN LINE!!!There was no sorry for the wait, Thanks for waiting...nothing.Furthermore, I booked an online appointment to which I WAITED OVER 3 HOURS past my appointment time before I received a call. After I had waited around an hour I called the clinic and spoke with the most unhelpful receptionist who just told me well yeah we are busy today" ... okay so everyone who had an in clinic appointment was also waiting 3 hours or because mine was a phone consultation I was pushed to the side till the doctor felt like calling?This is so disappointing when I have needed the assistance of doctors and nurses the most and I have a bad experience every single time...not just once.This clinic is awful from the receptionists to the doctors and nurses!"

ASHBY St are the best medical centre. Ashby bulk bills and holds appointments at the scheduled time! Ashby have many good doctors and I can usually get an appointment the same day! The HotDoc app provides an introduction to each of their doctors and makes it so easy to make an appointment.

My partner attended an appointment there yesterday. Waited over 45 minutes for the doctor, who was just sitting in their office with no clients. Doctor was of no help with simple medical issue.Not first time been dissatisfied with wait times or lack of care and knowledge. Even struggle to follow detailed hospital notes and directions.

Amazing service, caring Doctors. So wonderful that bulk-billing is available to everyone not just concession card holders. I also love that they're open every day.
