I've been trying to register my extended warranty for a product that is not on their website. I called Techtronics as instructed and the phone was down for unforeseen circumstances. I tried social media and that didn't work. After 10 days and a lot of time I finally was able to reach Techtronics but now have to wait for them to put product online, then scan and upload receipt. Not an easy process to get the product registered or to reach any assistance.

I purchased a Vax Reach from Myer through Ebay. It arrived on Monday afternoon, I put it on charge for three hours as recommended in the instruction booklet. Tried using it and it won't stay on. Charged it again overnight. Same thing happened, won't stay on to vacuum. Thursday afternoon I call the 1300 number that the booklet says to call for assistance. Told the person that answered what the problem was. First thing he wants to know is where I purchased it from. I told him Myers through Ebay. He then informed me that he can't help me because they don't honour their warranty if purchased through Ebay. I tried explaining that Myer is on the box, Myer is on my credit card statement, but he did not care and became very rude, even telling me I probably purchased a second hand Vax if it was through Ebay. Do not purchase a Vax Reach as your warranty most likely won't be honoured.

I’m not sure why this company has received a few negative reviews previously. I can only say that their online service was pretty good in that I have just been delivered a spare battery as part of a product purchase reward scheme. Initially the delivery ETA was stated as ‘within 6 weeks’ and I was happy and impressed to see the delivery driver in a shade over a week. The whole process was virtually effortless, speedy and to my satisfaction. As stated unfortunately these days if you have a company with a person/s on the ‘front desk’ that has had a bad day/s the resultant reviews will often reflect that frustration.

I have a 4 year old Ryobi driver which has worked well on various DIY projects until recently. I took it to Bunnings Fairfield as Bunnings are listed as the ONLY service provider by Ryobi Au.The driver no longer works, the bit is fitted into the chuck, the chuck turns but the bit remains stationary. Bunnings staff said they didn't know what to do, they wouldn't accept it for repair and told me I should try to fix it myself.This is appalling service and customer attention. I wasn't after a warranty repair, I was willing to pay for the repair even if it cost the same as a replacement but I got nowhere. If these items cannot be repaired, they are useless and there is no point buying them. I have a circular saw (not Ryobi) that I have had for 35 years, has been serviced once and still works well. I cannot recommend Ryobi to anyone based on my experience.

I have used Makita products pretty much all my life. Had to replace a Hammer drill so I looked at the AEG Range. I see a 1100 w Hammer drill with 6 year warranty they claim. Purchased this item. I have used the product 7 times to drill 7 holes. Had to tighten chuck 3 times per hole. 3 Holes using 3/8 into brick 4 Holes into 1 mm sheet metal. Returned drill to AEG. Had a phone call saying out of warranty ! Hmmm I said but its a 6 year warranty and I have had drill for 7 months and drilled 7 holes. The warranty person said only 3 MONTHS warranty on chucks. This has to be a joke. they that much faith in there product they only give 3 months on a chuck. I'm 63 years of age over the years I have had a number of drills and not once have I had to replace a chuck ! . Suggest don't touch AEG Products with a 10 ft pole !

As a PO most difficult customer service team to deal with that I have experienced. No part number means no help which makes me think they are data entry not customer service. Please learn the product that you sell to make life easier for everyone.
