Cafe La Mer
This cafe was obviously trying to cash in on Mother's Day. No chairs at our booked table when we arrive and in the rain. No indication we had to order at counter. Ended up leaving as it was clear we were going to be waiting for hours for food and we only had a 1.5 hour time frame for our table.Do not recommend this cafe at all.

Cafe La Mer
Great location out on the lovely shady deck overlooking the $$$ out in the marina. We were a prebooked group of 10 there for a birthday lunch, but for some reason our table (and the adjacent one) was over crowded" and the 10 of us were elbow to elbow on a table meant for 8 whilst there were plenty of vacant tables and space. Odd.Everyone enjoyed the various lunch dishes - my Octopus salad was great.Teas

Love the gorgeous old Ficus tree on the deck at the back of the cafe. It overlooks the river and you have a picturesque view of all the sailing boats that come in and out of the harbour. There is always a lovely breeze but it can get very chilly, even in Summer. The cafe thoughtfully provides warm fleece blankets for their guests to use. While their breakfast and lunch menus don't vary much, the food is always fresh, beautifully prepared, quite filling and we have never been disappointed. Even though the cafe is always busy, the service is quite quick and we have always been able to find seating on the deck. Staff are friendly and efficient. This is a hidden gem in Brisbane which we love bringing our overseas guests to.

Great place to have a lunch and a coffee but the parking is restricted on the weekends for harbour members only

Cafe La Mer
Great location and atmosphere, overlooking the marina. Best to come early for a good outdoor spot for breakfast, as seating is limited outdoors.Food was tasty, but on the small side, serving wise, compared to other cafes in the area serving breakfast at comparable prices. Service was quick and staff were friendly and professional.Parking was plentiful in the off street public car park and only a short stroll away from the cafe's entrance.

Cafe La Mer
Cafe La Mer is that hidden gem amongst the Manly Harbour precinct. Our visit was a last minute arrangement for just my wife and myself on a Saturday morning. The ambience had a good vibe to it.From ordering at the counter to receiving our orders was just a good enough length of time. Our young waitress was bubbly and very engaging and held the conversation perfectly. Definitely a credit to her and the business. The food was brilliant and the presentation was so good. Coffee and Tea was really nice too. Wheelchair access shouldn't be a problem. It is a casual dining experience and there is inside/outside sitting options and also an area where you can sit and dine over the water and watch the hustle and bustle of Marine life. Please remember, if you are not a member of the Precinct where the Cafe is situated you will need to park in the non-members car park which is situated about 100 meters away. If you are a member, then you can park literally right outside the cafe. The toilets are close by and are kept clean and presentable.Definitely will make the time to visit here again.

Cafe La Mer
Great views of harbour. Very breezy on the deck. Food well cooked and nicely presented. A bit overpriced although I guess you pay for locality. Meals are quite large, would be nice if small plates were available for reduced cost. I did get takeaway container. This would avoid a lot of wastage. Unfortunately meals were not delivered at the same time and the only service was meals delivered to table. Staff pleasant.

Cafe La Mer
I recently visited this Cafe La Mer for Mother's Day and unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment. Despite booking a table in advance, we were not seated in our desired location under the tree because it was overly crowded. To make matters worse, we waited for over 1.5 hours and still did not receive our food. It got to the point where we had to ask for a refund as it was clear that we were not going to be served anytime soon. What made matters worse was the staff's lack of concern or apology for the situation. While it was understandable that it was a busy day, the poor planning and management of time and service were evident. The situation was so dire that another customer who was also waiting for her food approached us and shared her concerns, as her mother was diabetic and needed to eat.It was disappointing that they couldn't accommodate the influx of customers despite setting up additional tables and chairs, which were placed in the rain and left customers uncomfortable. I understand that Mother's Day can be hectic, but it is unacceptable for a business to ruin such a special occasion for so many familie due to lack of organisation and planning.Overall, my experience was terrible and I would not recommend this establishment to anyone
