MJ did an amazing job of my cut! I’ve been wanting to get a cut that suits my natural waves, and she knocked it out of the park. She listened to what I needed/wanted and I was so happy with the outcome. I can’t wait for my next haircut with her!

I rang here in desperation for a quick wash and blow-dry and was treated incredibly well right from the start. Taya the apprentice did an awesome job on the wash, best ever. Second time around I was handled by Bridget who was amazing also. So happy that this business is in my neighbourhood, I’ll definitely be a regular. I have been going to Black Avenue for 5 years now and I can’t fault it’s wonderful service. The girls are very friendly and professional and are experts in colouring and styling, particularly in blonde hair. Lauren is great at translating what you want to do with your hair into practice and there are never any surprises. I am always happy with my hair every time! The salon also uses Australian made high quality products and are committed to overall hair health and wellness.

MJ went out of her way and stayed back later to fit me in on Christmas Eve before holidays. I showed her a picture and she made it look idental! She is extremely warm hearted and really takes her time and undivided attention with each and everyone. I love the whole team there, I normally see Lauren who I love love, and on the rare occasions I’ve had other girls who blew me away also. Their cute blue eyed reception boy is just the cherry on top hehehe. They’re very talented plus lovely souls. I appreciate you guys x

It’s a nice salon with lovely products. I saw Bridget who was so lovely and great at what she does so I was sad to not see her anymore. I did get my hair done once by someone else while Bridget was in mat leave and got a strange vibe from the lady. Maybe she was having a bad day but considering she had never met me I would have imagined she would be more friendly. I kind of got the vibe I was a bother.I always cringed at how much I paid each visit (nearly $400 each time) I eventually went somewhere else that was half the price hoping my hair didn’t suffer and I’m happy to report after 1.5 years now going somewhere else and paying half the price my hair is actually in better condition that it’s ever been.

I had my hair done by Grace and Ellie who were so delightful. Unfortunately the apprentice that was originally going to do my hair fell sick and so they found Grace who was able to do my colour for me at the same price they quoted originally with the apprentice which was a huge relief. They also squeezed me in a little later, so I’m grateful to the ladies for staying back just to fit me in. The girls were so lovely to speak to and made me feel really comfortable. I also feel so pretty with my new hair so thank you again! Will definitely be coming back and hopefully get to meet Taya this time hahah
