Great Space and clean library, but the NOISE in the library is awful... staff could easily approach parents to calm down their children but chose to just ignore the basic need in the library. Children doesn't know anything, but atleast staff can remind their carers about noise control.

I adore our library, our little safe haven. And I’m obsessed with how great it is; tucked away in an extremely convenient location, a gorgeous place to play and learn; read, create and watch. With friendly staff and intuitive systems for borrowing and returning, it’s all so smart! You can self trade books, movies and toys for a month at a time then swap them back simply by putting them on a shelf. Rhyme time, playtime, story time and soft play all free and readily available for the littlest readers. What else could you want? They have it all.

I understand that libraries are now more a community centre than a traditional library, but it is somewhat frustrating that while there are many other facilities available for parents to take their kids, like the many lovely parks, beaches and play areas throughout Moreton Bay, there are no alternative places for people to study and work, yet when this is raised with the staff, or in these Google reviews, it is always those who are not impacting others that have to seek alternative arrangements, such as finding a quieter place to work. The general hum of human activity is fine, and by far the majority of kids play nice and respectfully, but I feel the staff should take proactive corrective action on the few kids that are simply acting completely unreasonably in a library setting. Similarly with business people, who insist on conducting loud and intrusive online Zoom meetings for all and sundry to hear. I feel it is not up to myself, or the other patrons, to have to confront this, and that staff should manage this, and insist that people making Zoom calls in the public spaces, be asked to book a meeting room, and conduct it from there. A few simple and reasonable actions could make the library a truly wonderful space for all.

SUPER relaxing place. Been there many times, gotten many a book through my late childhood and teenage years (even reading one right now!) met one of my best friends for life there. I'd say that's pretty darn sweet. Convenient for North Lakes goers and livers ♡ :)

I’m new to the area and LOVE this library! It’s welcoming, the technology is amazing (self scan and put your returns on a shelf that auto-checks them back in) and the range is extensive. It feels warm and homely. I feel that I will be a regular for a long time.

Pretty good. Good layout especially for group spaces. It's opposite a high school and Westfield shopping center so there's always heaps of young people around. It's also below a state government office of education so there's also government workers around usually with their heads down or on their phones in public. It's a great space for children and is much more open than Caboolture's children area. They do supply water with cups here whereas Caboolture does not.
