Tantanoola Caves Conservation Park
Definitely worth a visit!! For people like me, that have mobility issues, this is a must....it is one of a few caves Australia wide that are wheelchair accessible, so definitely put it on your bucket list! For those that enjoy a short hike, there is the clifftop loop trail which is about 500m long, mostly single file, but has sections that are challenging to climb. The caves themselves are stunning, well lit up, with clear designated paths. There are toilet facilities here, with the disabled one set in the side of the hill, the first I have seen like this! All facilities are extremely clean. Whilst there are no bbqs available, there are several picnic tables and seating spotted around the park. The staff are very friendly and very knowledgeable, providing a well informed tour. If I could give it more stars I would!

Definitely worth the visit. It is an amazing cave with a history in the background. We visited it on an informative tour, and the staff was helpful in giving the details and information about the formation of the cave.

One of the best wet caves you could visit. Compact and wheelchair friendly. The guide Rachel was excellent. Make sure you do the short clifftop walk.

It’s not a big walk inside the cave, as you enter you see good view of cave and circle around and exit. It’s only for 30 minutes where they brief you for 10 minutes and you see caves for rest 20 mins. entry fees is close to $15 per adult

So glad we found these disability access caves . It’s a wide open cave with ramps , best half hour spent beautiful sights and then you can sit for a bit on the chairs to just take it all inVery magical

We were after a cave experience, but wanted something close to Mt Gambier, and this was well worth the small cost. Not a big cave, but very decorated with 'mites and 'tights and a big range of different types of them. The guide was really friendly and happy to answer questions (gave us some good ideas of other places to check out as well)The biggest down side here was the Tantanoola Tiger is not on display here, but is stuck in the pub, which is closed and so you cannot see it!!

Good if you're passing through....Expensive considering the 'tour' is extremely brief. Cave is very small and whole experience and visit is over in 20 - 30 mins. Has toilets on site but no refreshments and nothing in the immediate vicinity. Kids would be pretty underwhelmed and might only entertain them for 15 minutes. Not something I'm likely to recommend to others .
