Lake Macquarie Community Recycling Centre
Well organised and well maintained facilities. Recycling area for free dropoff of recyclables, and then an efficient transfer station to empty your trailer for paid waste inside past the weigh-bridge.We generally use it on a weekday to avoid possible weekend crowds.

The attendants there dont get enough credit for the work they do. Well done guys, I really appreciate everything you guys do to make the excellent experience I recieve at each and every visit. The place has transformed since the last time I went. What a great setup.

Way to high in price only had a small load and cost 45 I think it was a rep off didn't get ticket on the way in because the bridge was down so I think they just made it up ...

It cost us $360 to dump a load of furniture - this is a huge disincentive to being responsible.

Tried to charge me to dump scrap metal for recycling. No thanks.I wouldn't stick around for the money just dump and go but usually the person dropping the scrap metal gets paid by the recycler.They've got it backwards

There's nothing bad to say about this place. The staff are super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The recycle centre is clearly signposted and makes it really easy to navigate.
