The Winchelsea Hotel is a really good pub lovely meals and good service but it is not a multi storey highrise like the Royce Hotel or the Sheraton it is a pub and I'll be very very happy to eat their drink there with friends and family

Dropped in on a Sunday morning as we needed to charge our EV for our trip home. They have a charger around the back that was available to anyone. They charge $10 per hour which is fine if you need a top up. It charged at 6kW which is not fast but sufficient to get us out of trouble. The staff were very friendly and helpful.Although we could not stay for lunch, the pub filled up very quickly as lunch time approached so it must be popular with the locals. Good on them for catering for EV's. More venues should do this.

The welcome was very friendly and it was a great place to stop and take a break while travelling.Everyone in our group of seven agreed that the food was excellent. The servings are a generous size and everything was fresh and delicious.

Tess our hostess was a delight- attentive and calm under pressure, despite being very busy.Meals lovely and wine affordable . Quiet table in front room behind stain glasses doors. Would definitely recommend visiting.

This brilliant tavern is a dining gem in Winchelsea. The food looks as good as it tastes, accompanied by the friendly hospitality of the staff and publican. Hubby happily devoured the 500gm ribeye which he described as, melt in the mouth". I munched on the crumbed lamb cutlets; not one or two
