Gorgeous little campground. Picnic table and firepit (for cooking) at each tent site. There's electric/gas BBQs spread around as well. Goannas lurking around and the occasional kookaburra waiting to steal your food when you're not looking. Definitely a nice place to visit and stay a little while.

Lovely spot which was quiet. Even saw a goanna and a dingo! (Or a dingo looking wild dog haha) awesome spot and not a bad drive to get there. But disheartening to need to book and pay $24 for a car spot? Especially when it’s quiet just defeats the whole point of camping a bit

Beautiful campground, with wildlife blossoming everywhere around you. You feel like you are in a deep ancient jungle! There are a few walking tracks for the hiking enthusiast, ranging from overnight hikes to about a 2km hike to a beautiful waterfall.Toilets are basic drop toilets are there is a sink to wash your hands, will definitely return next time I am in the area.Watch out for those kookaburras! I had my eggs stolen straight from my plate one morning.

Despite us booking a week in advance we found someone set up in our spot when we arrived. We pulled into another spot and then felt really uncomfortable each time we had to check with each new person who arrived that we weren’t in their pre booked spot. Some of the people who arrived after us did so without a booking and stayed the night anyway because they “didn’t realise there would be no reception.” The booking system is flawed and makes you feel like a loser for trying to do the right thing and book in the first place. We also noticed everyone was collecting firewood… didn’t notice any signs saying not to do so but thought the campsite was in a national park???To top it off the toilets send a lovely stench wafting across the campground every other second.Didn’t think the road was that rough coming from lissy direction. Have definitely driven on worse. It’s not the best campground but considering what else is on offer in the northern rivers it’s better than nothing.

It really nice there and feels relaxing. I have been there once before many years ago, and there were so many goanna's there it wasn't funny, it was a little scary, they were coming out everywhere. However, this time I didn't see any goanna's. Apart from that, the place has beautiful creeks and little waterholes there for kids and adults to explore. There are walking track to explore, camping, BBQ areas, picnic tables and toilets.Oh and it's close to Minyon Falls

Very basic camping. Drop toilets. No showers. No bins. No kids play area. Campers to remove all rubbish. Narrow Dirt road access. Located on a small shallow creek 10 minutes drive past Mynion Falls

Booked in here for Valentine’s Day, beautiful drive however lots and lots of pot holes so make sure you have an off ground vehicle otherwise your car might get some damage. It was raining and the ground becomes soggy quite easily so might need to double check your weather before booking. The kookaburras were my favourite part you can get up close to them because they are used to human interaction I believe. They have long drop toilets so the smell isn’t quite pleasant so I suggest bringing soap and sanitiser, they do have toilet paper but I suggest you bring a few extra rolls just in case. There isn’t any running water so make sure you bring your own sources of water. The camp grounds are very very close together, it’s not what I anticipated when booking online. However, it was only $25 for me and my partner to book for the night. They have fire pits at the campsite with a cooktop on it however it was too rainy for us to use. They also have BBQ sections. There’s three long drop toilets at the place, no showers as there isn’t any running water. there is a river but it’s quite small. I believe there is a sheltered area to gather and have a fire but other campers took over that before we got there. Lots and Lots of leeches so I suggest wearing long clothes and bringing salt with you. Not too far from whian whian falls which is beautiful. There are definitely a lot of pros and cons.
