The level of detail that we went into specifying what we wanted in our home using the HBA documentation certainly paid dividends getting us such a great price with nothing left to chance. We loved working one on one with HBA’s designers. After just one design briefing he got our plan almost spot on. HBA then worked with us until we settled on the final front elevation and gave us several options to help make up our minds. Nothing seemed too much trouble with Home Builders Advantage even taking care of the planning application for us which was a big bonus. Home Builders Advantage have well and truly exceeded all of our expectations. The initial design process was a breeze, we felt very comfortable expressing our design ideas and were extremely happy with the home Home Builders Advantage designed for us. Richard went above and beyond during the tender process, we were kept well informed and were blown away by how hard Richard fought for the best price.

HBA have been great from the start!We originally called 8-10 building brokers to make appointments during a trip back to Perth (living interstate at this stage) about 18 months before wanting to start our build. Most of the brokers weren't interested in seeing us as we were still ages away from starting our build but we made 3 appointments with different brokers including HBA. HBA were great from the start, we sat down with Richard and talked about our block, our house ideas, our budget and what we wanted with the finished house. It was great to have someone listen to our ideas and be willing to work around what we wanted instead of just offering the same old standard!The next step was to have the concept drawing done, my fiancée and I sat down with Nigel and talked though all our ideas and showed him a very rough sketch of our vision. We walked out and made a bet with my fiancée that 70% of the concept would have to be changed. I couldn't have been more wrong! We were so blown away with the concept that Nigel had done that we signed up then & there and besides a few minor changes the house is about built the way Nigel first designed it.The tender process went well and we had about 8 or 9 builders tender on our design. We then booked meetings with 3 builders in quick succession to decide who we were most comfortable with and we would build with and after a few weeks signed up with a builder!So we are now waiting to start our build (should be first off the block after the Christmas break) and have run into a small problem with the builders paperwork and Richard has been more than willing to help sort it out! Its nice to know that we have someone so experienced in the building industry who is not only willing to help out but is also great for general advice.I couldn't be happier with everything HBA have done for us and have no problem recommending everyone to give them a try before signing up with a builder. Although building brokers aren't well known about in Perth at the moment, with the service that HBA offer, I think that will change soon enough.Seriously just give them a go, they might not be perfect for you but you will never know unless you give them a shot. They have been perfect for us!

Even at the point of signing the final agreement to go ahead with our builder HBA helped us find room to get a last minute reduction to seal the deal. The price we have agreed to, really does make the development meaningful for us and we can’t say how grateful we are for all the hard work HBA did to get the design and price just right for us. As soon as we get the opportunity we will be recommending the HBA team and their service to friends and family. Thank you Richard and the whole team at HBA.

Had our meeting with them today to go over our builders quotes. We were lying wake last night worrying about the costs but we needn’t have done as we literally couldn’t believe the numbers they presented us! They promised to save us lots of money but they would say that wouldn’t they ? Well compared to the kind of quotes we had received ourselves we could not have believed how much!! We went through the quotes over & over trying to find what was missing but it was clear the builders had just delivered astonishing value. We reckon we have saved at least 40k, probably more and for a design that is so much better than the builders plan we almost signed up for. Design wise they just had great ideas & we felt that we had someone on our side that actually cared if the home was great in the end. They did so many versions of the design for us that we were sure they would complain but they just kept saying “its only right when you say its right” Now that we have our quotes they have begun to introduce us to the builders we shortlisted from all of the quotes & we are now meeting with them beginning this weekend. We also loved the idea of us visiting actual people’s homes under construction to check quality & we have even been talking direct to other clients themselves about how the whole process is going for them. We could not be any more pleased if we tried. We went to see Home builders based on a recommendation as they had produced “brilliant results“ as our friends put it. They were exactly right and we highly recommend them. Thanks so much, can’t wait to show you round our new home.

Our previous experience with show home and standard designs was that nothing could be changed without significant problems and certainly a big cost impact. In fact, we were made to feel that unless we wanted a standard home we weren’t going to get anywhere. The difference we found at HBA is that the process is led by what we wanted to design so we got what we wanted not what someone else said we could have. At HBA we weren’t dealing with a just salesman, instead we dealt with someone who wanted to listen to our requirements, and guided us to tweak our design to better suit the purpose and house flow.

HBA are awesome! After 2 years of display homes and looking at plans I found HBA. They actually listened to my ideas then designed an excellent plan for my block. From the tender process through to completion they are with you all the way for advice and assistance. They use smaller boutique builders so you are not lost in a chain of people and paper. I am sure I have saved at least 10% of my build cost through HBA's tender process. I would use then again and I have already recommended them to friends and family. A happy client!

Thanks to the people of Home Builders Advantage. We had a hard time early on looking for a company that we can truly rely on until we found HBA. It was first introduced to us by a friend.
