Binns does a great job of sharing his people's Aboriginal art with people. He explains some of the culture around the art and his story. You can paint a small canvas or boomerang . He demonstrates the technique and then you are off to try it yourself. He comes around to offer advice and or assistance. But he encourages you to make your art. You leave there with an appreciation of just how difficult it is to make some of this complex art.

Definitely worth a visit for the local perspective of Aboriginal art. No comparison in Port Douglas.

This is an amazing, must-do experience. You learn so much about aboriginal culture and get to try your hand at creating your own aboriginal inspired art. Even if you lack creative juices, I still highly recommend as you can be surprised at what you can create. The artwork here is beautiful and all inspired by the rainforests and reefs in the surrounding areas. My wife and I would go back anytime and even plan on purchasing some of his original artwork. Not only that, but you can hear one of a kind stories and learn the spirituality behind an amazingly unique group of people. This is once in a lifetime. Highly recommend.

It was very nice, even Binn forgot that we booked a class.We only stayed an hour as our 2 year old had enough. Being changed for an 2 year old was not reasonable as the kids prices are (4-16 years).

Wow, beautiful aboriginal art with some modern flourishes. Binna is highly talented. Can't wait to see that cassowary-in-profile piece finished!

Talented aboriginal artist. More contemporary painting and lots of amazing pieces. Had a little chat with the artist/owner and had good vibration. This is a Must see in Mossman!

Stopped in here on the recommendation of our hosts in Port Douglas and we are so glad we did. If you are interested in Aboriginal art then this is a must see. Had a long visit with Binna the artist/owner. Binna is hearing impaired so be sure to face him when you speak so he can read your lips.We found Binna to be very interesting and articulate and his artwork is amazing.
