Was here for lunch but instantly regretted after 1-2 dish came out.The smoked honey glazed bbq pork had a weird taste to it, and took a awfully long time to arrive. The meat was hard and you could tell it is not fresh. The tangerine peel infused pork ribs was not in fact “infused” into the dish. It was just a few strands randomly placed on top of the ribs. But the ribs was just purely ribs, it was 80% bone and only had a little bit of meat on top. Are we cavemen? Eating bones? The black sesame paste was too sweet and somehow tasted bitter. It is evident that this has been a failure to intertwine Canton cuisine with modern dining. Compared to Mama Mulan or King Dynasty in Chatswood, Chef’s Gallery is severely underwhelming. Moreover, the service was horrible, we asked for one more spoon and the waiter (wearing a cap and beads) answered in a condescending tone “don’t you already have a spoon?” The same waiter, when he was letting way for the others to pass, held another table’s hot pot dish extremely close to my head. Which is a safety hazard in itself, please be aware of your surroundings. Last but not least, the same waiter (!) coughed in the open without covering. It is concerning that in times like this, the staff training is appalling for a restaurant we have heard such good things about. They all look like they don’t want to be there and the unenthusiasm is horrendously influential on the dining experience.A true disappointment and unfortunately we will not be coming back here again.

Been here a few times prior but recently they have changed the service slightly. The order is now via a QR code rather than a waiter taking your orders which reduces the chance of an error. However we did notice the next table they had forgot to bring out all their meals when it came time to paying and leaving hence the 4 star rating. The menu has changed as well, they now offer dim sims whereas before was mainly meals.Food is exceptional and hasn’t changed quality over time. Still easily one of the better quality restaurants. Highly recommend all their signature dishes as no one else does it similar.

The food is average taste but it is too overpriced. Service was fast and friendly, but the food itself really brings down the rating.

Warm, welcoming traditional Chinese cuisine restaurant with spacious seating and tables and amazing food.Service is very attentive and accommodating and knowledgeable about their products. They were very kind to alter certain dishes to fit dietary requirements. The ambience is very warm and perfectly lit; just dim enough to be comfortable and relaxed but bright enough to read a menu. There is a vast selection of food to choose from! Lots of vegetarian options and meat options. The Garlic Water Spinach dish was so delicious and fresh and yummy! My companions really enjoyed their Fried Duck noodles dish which was flavourful and fresh and delicious. The noodles themselves are really nice and have a great soft texture. The serving sizes are very generous and even though they're on the expensive side, they're still very very reasonably priced. Especially for the large amount of food you get on the plate.Everything is perfectly clean and presentable. The ambience is earthy and warm and traditional...great for chilling and savouring your food while having a good time with your friends or family...or by yourself. We had a really great time here enjoying amazing fresh food and excellent customer service, delicious drinks and a good experience!

Overall food was good but slightly on the salty side. Price is on the higher side but if you have NRMA membership you get 20% off. Staff was not very friendly.

Chefs Gallery is a Chinese restaurant situated in Macquarie Centre that provides a unique spin on Chinese cuisine by modernizing and refining the dishes.Food (3.5/5): The food received a rating of 4 out of 5, with the spicy noodle soup, fried rice, and lamb chops being satisfactory but the Peking duck being the standout dish. The Macquarie branch's quality is better than other Chefs Gallery locations the reviewer has visited before.Service (3/5): The service received a rating of 3 out of 5, with staff appearing impatient during busy periods but attentive and pleasant during quieter times.Ambiance (5/5): The ambiance was given a rating of 5 out of 5, with the restaurant having a delightful atmosphere suitable for large groups, special occasions, casual dining, or even date nights.Price (3/5): Prices were found to be not the cheapest, but it's expected for better quality Chinese food in comparison to typical chinese takeaway restaurants.Parking (5/5): Parking was rated 5 out of 5 as it was easy to park at Macquarie Centre.Overall, Chefs Gallery is a nice restaurant to try at least once, but it may not be recommended for repeated dining experiences.

The food is superb - high quality ingredients, freshly cooked, and properly cooked - fast, and properly arranged/served. The service is quick and efficient.Despite their hardworks and fast-paced, the staffs manage to be friendly too. The food are properly priced as well.To the staffs: please keep up your great work! We know it's hard work but you guys keep us happy with your foodies!Chef Gallery Macquarie is our go to" restaurant once a week that we look forward to coming on every Friday night after work. This is one of restaurants that sets our feeling happier when leaving the restaurant
