Was shut 15 minutes early. Supposedly shuts at 4pm, but gates were closed at 3:45pm with a number of cars trying to get in.

The staff here are all hard working, helpful and friendly. The recycling area is great. It's actually enjoyable disposing of waste here.

Was going to give 5 stars before I got hit with the bill! Just a bin load of each; recycle and general waste as we’re moving out before bin day. Then to be told I would have to pay again to return with my green waste bin! Pretty outrageous in my opinion given it’s not extra to what we’d be doing normally..Apart from that, I was legitimately impressed by the layout and organisation of the different types of bins. Shame they don’t look after the standard citizen trying to do the right thing. Never had to pay to drop off household waste in any state on the mainland..

Completely incompetent if you can advertise new years day times may change then you can put closed on you Web times instead. Everyone in Clarence loading trailers and trucks and turning up to a closed gate is irresponsible and unnecessary when everything on your Web page states its open. Sack your IT professional who does your Web browser.

I've always gone to Mornington second chance shop to have a rummage and find little treasures and had nothing but praise for them but, their prices have increased so much in the past 18 months or so. Some of their stuff is similar price to what you pay for new ! In fact, in one case, I got a brand new item cheaper than the tip shop wanted. When you consider that the stuff they sell is actually donated to them, their prices are much too expensive for a tip shop. I will say, the staff are great, helpful and friendly and always attentive.

Pretty disgusting when you get there and it's 3:55 and the stupid woman reckons I would be a liability . It's shuts at 4. NOT 3:55, NOT 3:57 BUT 4:00, I had 5 minutes. Too bad that I needed the car to pick up kids, can't it's full of rubbish! Thanks. And they wonder why it gets dumped! Great and big bonfire tonight!

Just curious to learn why when we pay Clarence City Council rates and also provide Clarence City Council city's waste transfer contractor with our recyclables, from which the contractor(s) presumably make a profit by selling our recyclables such as green waste, metals and plastic stuff together with all the rest we are charged for delivering such recyclables. We provide the service by loading our trailers, sorting stuff out and spending money on fuel to drive the stuff to the Waste Transfer Station, offloading it into the appropriate bins and driving home. And we don't even get credit for traveling time?
