Simply Seated

We engaged the services of Simply Seated less than 2 weeks before our event on a yacht in Sydney Harbour. They were so friendly and easy to deal with in organising a large hire of multiple furniture and decorative pieces, delivery was seamless as was the collection the following day. We were so impressed with how beautiful the items were. Such a beautiful range and so easy to deal with, I highly recommend!

Jenna helped us pull together our wedding day in 10 weeks on the Partial Wedding Package. For any bride and groom who have full time jobs it’s really a life saver, moreover it helps you enjoy the day and lead up which is so important.We just put together a Pinterest board, chose a venue and Jenna pulled pretty much everything else together. Moreover worked so hard on the day itself to ensure everything was seamless and stress free

I had such an amazing experience with simply seated.Communcation was fantastic and easy.My wedding looked absolutely beautiful and all night and even weeks later, I have been complimented with how everything look.I hope to work with simply seated again as I plan on becoming an event planner and will highly recondmend this company to others.

Joss and Cassie were absolutely amazing. They were so proactive in communication, ordering and keeping us in the loop of anything that they thought would improve our ceremony. Everything was delivered, on time and with thought.There is no other company I would go with for event organization. I would recommend Joss and Cassie to everyone!

We have worked with these guys since 2019 with them providing an equipment rental & set up service which somehow has been discontinued without informing us. Also equipment delivered was dirty (greasy wooden tables and unusable wobbly bentwood chairs).They charge you right left and center after the booking is complete for silly things like candles which were not returned (as they burned out throughout the night I'd imagine!).

Please do not use this company. We had an extremely horrible experience and were treated terribly.We had our delivery arrive the day before our wedding and when we set the tables we saw that a large number of utensils were missing. When I called simply seated, they denied that they had made a mistake with the numbers and at first refused to deliver the missing utensils. I had to really push and wait a long time before they agreed to deliver the utensils. It was incredibly stressful to deal with the day before my wedding and the utensils were not delivered until late at night so we had to finish setting up really late. Our delivery was also two napkins short, which had not been an issue for my wedding because I had ordered two extra of everything. However, after the wedding we were charged for these napkins. Again we had to really push for Simply Seated to agree that this was a mistake. The person we dealt with was extremely rude to us and eventually agreed to give us the money back if we picked it up in cash from his desk (which is completely ridiculous and unprofessional, as well as not possible as we live far away).Today, even though my wedding was months ago. I was charged $800 with no warning. I phoned and they agreed it was a mistake and reversed the charge. However, it reflects the dodginess and incompetence of this company.I am quite disgusted by how we have been treated overall by this company, especially since we were paying so much money for their service.

I would never recommend this business to anyone. We hired 35 chairs for an event and 11 of the chairs were rickety, with supports not connected to the legs, or broken struts. We couldn’t be sure they were safe to sit on for our guests, so we couldn’t use them. We provided photographic evidence but the company refused to amend the charges to reflect that some of the chairs weren’t usable. Luca was extremely unhelpful and pretty rude. I hope they don’t have any safety incidents, pretty disappointing.

Hi team just wanted to reach out and say a massive thank you for your time, beautiful pieces and efforts at our wedding everything was styled exactly as requested with no issues. We loved everything and it made our day that extra bit special.Will definitely be using you again

Unfortunately I had a poor experience and wouldn’t recommend simply seated to any bride. I faced a huge variety of issues, of all the vendors I’ve dealt with they are the only ones that added incremental stress. I worked out from some popular bridal groups that my experience was far from unique, which is disappointing. I did feel that the staff genuinely had their hearts in the right place but didn’t have the support they needed to service the huge quantity of events they take on.Edited to add: I have received an email from simply seated stating they will be pursuing defamation charges if I do not remove this review. Says it all really.
