Woolworths Conder
Was my regular for a year but I got sick of having to wait for ages at the register then repack my bags at the car (things like eggs and bread under soft drink bottles or putting shelf stuff in a cool bag and cold stuff in a regular one) after struggling in store with stuck and staff. Can back for about a month now and over it again. Stock in the wrong place, long waits, still need to repackage bags and damaged stock like meat packages which look sealed but actually aren’t so they’re on a shelf for who knows how long (open) then in my freezer from Sunday to Wednesday (open) then defrosted (open). Not safe and not meat specific. Same goes for vegetables, fruit, deli and shelf goods.

Absolutely Abysmal service. I don’t know who they have managing this joke of a store but they need to educate themselves on some customer service skills.If someone brings a product back from YOUR store that is Off is it not your obligation to adhere to your code of conduct.Pathetic.

Does this place have all your essential shopping needs? Sure. So they increase the prices every fortnight and stick a label on the price tag saying LOW PRICE!" afterwards? Sure. Do they keep just 2 registers and the express 10 items or less open? Of course. Does higher prices and lower overheads = record profits? Of course. But there's nowhere else to go for your shopping way down in the deep dark south of Canberra..."

Come here weekly to do shopping with my client. Most don’t know how to treat a person with a disability with respect.My favourite guy could have a staring competition with a wall and win. Which is weird- he’s all jokes when it comes to women but when it’s us, I think he forgets can speak. Our last transaction all he said was “I’ll take that basket”I shouldn’t judge though, maybe he can’t read and that’s why he didn’t even tell us the grand total.That being said I still like going there they make me feel even better in comparison

Very dissatisfied and disappointed with my regular Woolworths store in Conder. They refused to take return on my purchase of 4 glass jars.(which I purchased only few minutes earlier). The reason or the excuse given was very lame. When I ask the reason for not accepting the returns she said due to Covid. When the supervisor came on my request she too gave the same reason. Then she said I am allowed to exchange for anything else in the store which I agreed to.So for the exchange the Covid is not an issue but for returns convinently it’s all dangerous and contagious.Lot of bull.And there was no notice or information of any kind in the store of “No Returns Accepted ” for the customers. Even the staffs couldn’t find it when I inquired about it.Very bad Mr Store Manager.

I bought seed feed for my birds from this woolworth and put it for them, after one hour all my beautiful birds are dead, I don't know why the store displays such dangerous products !! I would not recommend anyone to buy this product for their birds

Classic Woolworths sells what you'd expect. Has a descent deli and good selection of cheeses for a Woolies. Good for a local shops. Plenty of parking. Easy access. Nothing to complain about.
