I took my Marantz CD player to Adept Electronic Services on 28/06/22 to be repaired and paid my $70 inspection fee. A few days later they rang me and told me that the laser assembly was faulty and that it would cost$267 in total to fix. I agreed to this and gave them the go ahead to fix my CD player.I did not here from them again until 25/07/22 when I rang them to determine the state of my repairs and was told that they were still waiting for the parts to arrive. As I didn't hear from them again, I called them on 10/10/22 to find out what was going on with my repairs, and was told that that the parts had arrived but they were faulty.After having waited three and a half months to have my machine repaired I did not accept this explanation. I advised them that I no longer wanted the CD player fixed and that I would collect it the following day. Two hours later I get a phone call from them saying that my CD player had been repaired and was ready to be picked up.On the11/10/22 I collected my machine and paid the balance of $197. After I had paid I asked to speak to the owner of the business (who was unfriendly, unsympathetic and lacked people skills) and queried why it took three and a half months to fix a machine in two hours. H e told me that they found the parts in another machine which I assume they either had or found.So after waiting three and a half months for a new part, I got repairs done in two hours with, I presume, a second hand part and yet charged the same as for a new part. Would I use these people again or recommend them - definitely not. In there defence however they do have several good reviews.maybe I was just unlucky.

Excellent. I used Adept about 10 years ago and should have used them straight away this time but I've moved house and used a closer shop to repair my amp. After 6 weeks of Yeah it's my next job" I took the amp back and went straight to Adept where it was fixed quickly at a more than reasonable prince with good communication all the way through. Highly recommended"

I had a problem with electronic control board, to replace the (now discontinued board) was going to cost over $1000.Adept lived up to their name and replaced a component on the board for under $50 and did it very quickly!Great price and service.Thank you so much.

I called today to thank Adept for the work that they completed on a cassette player that had been in my possession for many years. The replacement parts for this 30 year old unit were hard to source and delayed the repair. It was well worth the wait as it is working as well as the day it was manufactured.

Adept repaired and serviced a cassette 4 track recorder for me. They went above and beyond. Thorough repair, fast turnaround after the parts arrived, very reasonable price and the unit now functions as good as new. 100% recommended.

Great for any household goods/electrical goods that need repairs. We get our hotel tvs repaired here and never had a problem

The main board died in the 14 year old reversing camera monitor, mounted in our vehicle. Hoping not to have to replace the whole system (car & caravan) we asked Matt to see what was possible. It took a few weeks, but Matt was able to secure a new monitor and adjust the wiring to suit our existing system. We now have both cameras working and the price was very reasonable. Thanks Matt for your service. I will use and recommend Adept Electroncs, if needed again in the future.

Took my twin tuner hard drive to be repaired had it for a long time until it stopped working. Did take them long to find the problem. So was happy it's going again

Great work and reasonably priced. I was given an estimate of 10 business days to repair my Pioneer SE-305 headphones and invited to call if I had not heard back within the 10 days, they ended up calling me on the 11th day. Would definitely go back again.
