Bar Merenda
This is an outstanding wine bar with very solid food focus on the best producers, farmers, butchers, winemaker everything is sort locally. The dishes are simple but well thought, great wine list, focus on natural wines and little artisan producer trough Europe and Australia. Highly recommend when you are in Daylesford and worth a trip.

The food and wine at Bar Merenda is superlative.We had Sunday lunch for a special birthday. The staff looked after us so well. Their knowledge of the food and wine list is peerless.We had the Chef’s Selection which was a careful selection from the menu of the day. It was like a farmhouse lunch. Fresh flavours from the garden.We enjoyed the restauranteurs’ own 2022 A&C Ainsworth Grenache which was a great match for the lamb. The beet salad was unique, the beets were like nothing we had tasted before.Some restaurants are an experience as much as a meal, Bar Merenda is one of those.

Brilliant service with an absolutely wonderful ambience.Coffee both Decaf and Regular are fantastic with their own roasting and blending on site.The consistency with every cup I have had is an art form by the barristers..BRILLIANT

Fantastic wine, knowledgeable staff, and outstanding food. Will definitely be back. This place alone justifies a visit to Daylesford!

Lovely wine and people! The staff here are so warming and lovely. Highly recommend here when you are in Daylesford. My friend and I felt like we were in a bar in France. Well done guys.

Loved this local restaurant! The staff were super friendly and very knowledgeable. The food was fantastic and I loved all the local produce. I'm also not a big wine drinker, but was able to find a wine that I really enjoyed. Definitely coming back again!

Terrific wine bar find! Asked what I wanted and I replied ‘you choose please’. So was presented with a delicious Rose from Central Victoria. Great selection of wines either by bottle or glass. Super friendly knowledgeable service. Will visit again weekend after next to try the food too. Well done and thank you just the chill out after my market stall at the station! Live Daylesford’s vibe so eclectic and vibrant.
