We could not be happier with the service we received from Pete and Zane. They worked through wind and rain to get the job done in a timely fashion. Pete is meticulous in his approach and can call on years of experience to offer advice and suggestions. But what sets him apart is his overall enthusiasm and professional manner. It's no surprise that he is booked months in advance and we count ourselves lucky that he could squeeze us in between bigger jobs. Like most of you, I was researching for a good paver to do my patio. I read the reviews and then I met Pete from PE Pavers. From our first meeting, I was very impressed with his knowledge and skills.The only thing is that I had to wait 3 months before he can start. He is worth the wait. The patio project involved taking out old Terracotta pavers and replacing them with Silver Aqua Travertine from The Haus Collective in Brisbane.Work proceeded well and went very smoothly. There was no stress at all. I felt I was in safe hands.The Patio project took 2 weeks and it was a joyful experience unlike my other renos.I learned a lot from Pete’s expertise and I would highly recommend him. He is usually booked out 6 months ahead but I wouldn’t trust anyone else.Pete’s sidekick is Zane. What an amazing young man! So strong, calm and mature for his age. They both work so well together. It was fun having them here. We talked, laughed and enjoyed the beautiful transformation.We had lots of rain recently after the patio was done, sand got washed away and there were gaps in the joints. Pete came to check how things are and they happily came back to re-sand the patio. He went out of his way to check up on you to see how things are after the job. This is very rare now these days.It’s been an amazing experience overall and I’m so happy with my new Patio.Thank you so much Pete and Zane!

I enquired about having a small area paved in the next 24-48 hours, a time sensitive manner as we are having a pool excavated. I knew it was a long shot calling and asking but was told that PE Paving would be able to do the job ‘either this afternoon or tomorrow afternoon, just send through a photo of the area and the tiles’ and he would send through a quote. We were ready to accept any quote but never received one, despite sending through photos straight away. The end of that business day I sent through a text asking if the images were received. The next morning I sent another text, followed up by four phone calls over the next few hours, all to be met by ‘this caller is busy, please try again later’; no chance to leave a message. I suspected my number was blocked and called from my partners phone and got through straight away and spoke to the owner who then said he never received the images and was told that he had been having trouble with his phone. I like to give people benefit of the doubt but this time I really don’t believe him since my first call on another number went through straight away, no problems. Anyway, I was told there was no way he could complete the job that afternoon and I was left high and dry. Had I known that they could not or did not want to do this job in the first place I would have called other paving businesses and tried my luck there. We have a lot of paving to be done around our house and it’s definitely not going to be done by these guys who stuffed us around straight up. Very disappointed as it looks like they have a lot of great reviews previously.

If you’re looking for quality paving of any kind, you can’t go past Pete and his team. He is a true gentleman with an outstanding work ethic and a passion for getting it right.I can’t recommend him highly enough. We were lucky to find him when he was recommended by a family member (he re-laid their driveway) and we keep asking him back to do more and more projects in our garden. Top quality workmanship!

Contacted Pete to look at our old un level driveway. His quote was very reasonable and his work amazing. The driveway looks like a new one. I’ve had a few people ask if it’s a new driveway. Pete’s very passionate and very clean as is his young apprentice. I highly recommend PE Paving, the reason they are so busy is because they are excellent at what they do. Pete and Zane were wonderful to work with and very friendly! They went above and beyond and even fixed and sealed tiles at no extra cost. Good old fashioned service!
