Matt at Circle Music has been nothing but supportive of my two children with their music tuition. He has the right balance of fun, kindness and work. He never gives up on the kids. Highly recommended!

My daughter has been with circle music for 3 years now, first learning drums with Matt and then piano with Tenaia. It has been wonderful watching my daughter learn the instruments and become more confident, all the teachers there are amazing. My favourite part about circle music are the opportunities they give the children and adults to perform in their half yearly and yearly concerts. It’s a great community event and the students get a chance to showcase their talent and all the hard work they put in during the year.

Matt is an amazing teacher and has produced amazing results! He has instilled the love of music in my son that he now plays Drums and now Guitar.I am extremely thankful to Matt for all the time and effort he has put in and kept him coming back for more!

Matt has been teaching my daughter drums for the past 4 years. She loves her lessons and is always keen to go. Matt has a quirky sense of humour and is really encouraging. I’m amazed he has been able to teach her to keep such a great beat (she is not a natural musician) and I feel it has helped her development in so many ways. We love the half yearly concerts, my daughter is now very confident on stage and in front of a crowd. Highly recommend Circle Music!!

Matt is a passionate professional who knows how to capture his students’ interests and cater for individual needs. The music showcases each year are evident of the great team of teachers who take effort and pride in their students’ development of skill and appreciation of music. My two children have been a part of the Circle Music family for the past four years and love it.

I am attending circle music couple of years and teacher Matt is amazing to help me out teaching music drum lessons. He is kind compassionate and understanding student needs. I am proud to be a part of Circle Music family. Would recommend to anyone who is interested to learn music.

My son started lessons with Circle Music over two and a half years ago. He has Autism Spectrum Disorder, so our main aim was always to have fun and avoid a military-style school that was trying to crank out prodigies. My son and Matt hit it off immediately and through music we've all seen a side of my son, that we'd never expected - and that has extended into so many other areas of his life. Matt quickly worked out when to push my son and when to hold back. Matt breaks many of the rules we were taught about how kids on the spectrum learn, and to our surprise, he has thrived in this environment. I can honestly say that choosing Circle Music for our drumming and now singing lessons has changed our lives so much, for the better, it really was sliding doors moment for our family. I couldn't give their staff a higher recommendation. The mid-year and end of year concerts are a highlight to see how much all of the kids have improved.

Matt Dorahy and Circle Music provide an amazing service by giving musicians of all ages and levels a chance to play music on a regular basis with other like-minded individuals.The monthly 3 hour Sunday jams are just about the most fun you could have anywhere for $20.I have also been a participant in the Weekend Rockers program, Matt has mentored and coached our bands and organised some amazing gigs for us over many years.

Matt's been teaching my son drums for almost 3 years and recently also guitar. Great teacher, great results. Really knows how to connect with kids. Highly recommend.
