Bayswater Automatic Transmissions

10/10 I have a ford ranger that had transmission issues, took it to ford in Ringwood they told me 8k and a new transmission. I had a suspicion they were just trying to flog me a new transmission. Went to Bayswater automatics spoke with Phill who gave me multiple other options it could be and asked far more questions. Had my car fixed within 2 days and saved me well over 4 thousand. Fantastic service

I went to this place with my Dodge Nitro SXT 2011 with transmission issues. The gearbox wouldn’t go pass 1-2nd gear. I was recommended to change the solenoid box for $1000 and it fixed the problem, only to find out that the transmission was leaking fluid now. I went back to them 4 times to fix the issue but they were unsuccessful. At the end, they pretty much just told me that they can’t do anything more. The transmission never ever leaked oil before they opened it and changed the solenoid pack. These people never seemed sure of what they were doing from the start. It was all guess work. In hindsight, I should have gone to a different transmission joint.

Tim and the guys did a brilliant job on my Audi Allroad, replaced the gearbox in record time and at far better price than anyone else in the area by a healthy margin. To top it off added 6 months parts and labour warranty for piece of mind. These guys are are highly recommended.

If your car has more than 100,000 on the ODO and you haven't been to see Phil yet, book your car into see Phil. You could always wait and the tow truck can take it, but it's better to drive there yourself. Modern transmissions are VERY expensive when they fail, but Phil doesn't charge much and then you're a lot less likely to need a tow truck. Maintenance is everything. Thanks again Phil.

I had an problem with my auto transmission and bayswater automatics even though they were very busy they got the car fixed after delivering on tow truck...I can say they went above a beyond to get the car back on the road again they let me know what they checked and serviced and replaced shift solenoids .even rang before ordering part to let me know total costs...once again thanks bayswater automatics

I cannot recommend Phil enough! Extremely helpful and throughly went through every option with me. Haven’t had much luck with mechanics but I have no complaints when it comes to these guys! Extremely accommodating and will work with you to make a plan that suits you.

I had rang Phil and asked if he's able to fit me In knowing how busy he was and he was able to look at my car the next day ,I had Mitsubishi glen Waverley tell me in a week and I'm looking around $6000 to fix without looking at it ,what a joke anyway Phil explained to me the problem with detail he had the car ready to go the next day and I couldn't be more happy with the outcome the car car drives smoother heaps more power uses less petrol and it was less than half to cost that I've been quoted ,I have no problems referring him out and I'll be taking all my cars there when needed .Thanks phil

As recommended to me by the only honest mechanic I know, I recently had the pleasure of dealing with Bayswater Automatic Transmissions for a routine transmission service. These guys are of the typical honest mechanic variety and charge fair pricing for the service they provide.While I did not have much of a dealing with them, they appeared honest and found no faults in my '94 Accord's transmission. After a service the transmission felt smoother and seems like money well spent.
