Rafter & Rose is my favourite place to get breakfast in all of Australia. I highly recommend the acai flow bowl for breakfast - it's basically ice cream, but super healthy (right?)! Atmosphere is great too, definitely worth the trip to Ipswich.

Although the coffee/beverages was a tad slow, the place is generally quaint and leafy. The fresh scone was quite delightful!

We came this cafe few months ago but we couldn't have brunch because of the long queue. Good to sit outside if the weather is mild. Love all the plants and greenery vibe. Food and coffees were great. We spent $59.5 (2 coffess+2 meals)

Really beautiful ambience here, the food is well presented and tasty. The coffee with caramel sauce is incredible. The picture of my food is half consumed because it was impossible to resist and I just dug right in. This place obviously has it's regular customers who walk directly to a table and reserve it with their bags. I found that a little off-putting and inconsiderate as they were single customers with a coffee sitting at a table for 4 and we were a couple eating a meal on the sofa. Maybe a few more smaller tables for those dining alone so that those who need the table space can get it. The table full of cheerful ladies laughing their heads off enjoying each other's company without a mobile phone in sight were an absolute delight. Overall a really nice place with lovely tasting food and drinks. Prices are a little steep, but worth it.

Food is good with excellent value for money with support from local farmers. Light, relaxing atmosphere, lot of beautiful plants around. One of the best cafes in Ipswich. Great friendly staff and outstanding customer service. Coffee is lovely, as well you can ask for a house-made caramel.

Ordered the DC Special, requesting a swap of spinach for rocket if possible but was told they couldn't do that as they didn't have much rocket. Ok, leave the spinach off, please. While I like my bacon crispy, the single rasher of bacon was so overcooked as well as being cold, it was like jerky. Haloumi was a small portion & also barely lukewarm, avocado looked uninviting, the single poached egg was overcooked, sweet potato rosti was crispy on top, soggy and greasy underneath and didn't hold together at all. This was my second visit, the last time being around 6 months ago. I had the same (or similar meal) and it was much better both in quality and portion size. This meal does not compare to photos in older reviews.4 stars for the ambience, the decor and their food philosophy, 2 for service which was pleasant enough but not particularly accommodating and 1 star for the food which was not value for money at $20 for the plate. Overall a huge disappointment.

Was really excited to try this adorable cafe but unfortunately the delivery didn’t match expectations. It was a bit slow to order which is fine as it was busy. When the food finally arrived it was a bit lackluster. The poached eggs were way overdone and the sweet potato hash cake had no real flavour or form. They just seem liked spiralised sweet potatoes and fell apart and had no crust or crisp. Our food arrived before our coffees which was odd and when asking our server about them, she said she’d look into it. After waiting a few more minutes, I went to find her and she unfortunately had forgotten entirely. Then she disappeared around the counter leaving me just hanging around and then was finally told by someone else they were on the way. We were basically done eating by the time the coffees arrived.I get accidents and mixups happen, but just the slow service, forgotten coffee, no acknowledgment of any of it and then average food, I just wasn’t all that impressed.Bummer.
