Great yumcha experience! Delicious food, lots of variety and quick service. Food highlights: egg custard, eggplant, anything prawn (very juicy), congee and tried this unique mungbean red bean rice dessert. We came on a weekend (pre-booked) for the 11am session. We noticed their thoughtfulness of putting highchairs away from trolley side of the table for safety. Staff were by far friendlier than other yum cha places and surprisingly the price is more reasonable than other restaurants that offer yum cha in the eastern suburbs (e.g. secret kitchen and dragon palace cost much more for the amount of food we ordered). We left feeling satisfied and full! Nice atmosphere and we did not feel rushed for the second seating after us. You can also request for specific dishes via the staff if needed. Recommend the jupu tea (mixed chrysanthemum and puerh).

Forgot to take pics of the food but did manage to get a video of the lady scooping up my Tau Foo fah. Food was delicious though a little more expensive, given the upper market style restaurant this is.Would go again to try out more dishes with more people.Note that the hotel is known as Golden Pebble Hotel but the restaurant is Favourite kitchen

We had to come here due to some reliably very high recommendations. We're very happy we did. Came for my wife's group birthday dinner. In a large group and ordering a la carte, service was seamless and prompt, with little waiting for the dishes. The food was beautifully prepared and very high quality. Classy dishes expertly put together and delicious. We'll definitely be back.

As you enter, you know you are entering a chinese restaurant. The restaurant is spacious and the staff are welcoming. The beer was cold and refreshing. The food was delicious and portion was generous. Will be back

Surprisingly delicious, this is your typical canto cuisine but so insanely value for money!! And boy do you leave with a full belly!Lobster, steamed fish, pipis and Chinese donut, clay pot eggplant, steamed scallops and a cold meats platter. All standard dishes done well, with extra to take home too!The above and beyond part comes from the staff, most restaurants that are authentically Chinese do not care for providing quality service. But Favorite kitchen, staff were hospitable, kind, accommodating, attentive and so careful when serving dishes. I was so impressed with the service!

A classic Cantonese place for yum cha and dinner.As a person who’s eaten Cantonese food there entire life I can truly say that the food is top quality! Super fresh produce and good flavours.Oysters, free range chicken and crispy duck are must gets!

Very good yum cha foods and services, Good variety and foods and way better than Shark fin or Gold leaf. The salted egg buns come in steam or baked . You would not be disappointed. Easy parking is a plus ………booking essential for weekends and holidays. Overall we are satisfied

Great Cantonese cuisine with some interesting menu which you need to call in advance to order such as crocodile feet , pei pa duck . Place is comfortable , clean and nice setup with plenty of carpark . Service is top notch !

Food is pretty good. Service while seated was good. Lady at the front of the restaurant directing people to their tables was extremely rude and impatient which is a disappointment. Won't be returning because of this.

Our experience was average at best - not good value. The price was over $100 for two, and the food was... lacking in flavour (maybe oversteamed). The staff were good. The venue was good. Maybe an earlier start would have provided a better experience - but maybe there is an opportunity for the restaurant to provide a discount when the food is past its best.
