I have a 14 yo son. We wanted him to learn a martial art to help with his confidence, agility, posture, and discipline.We looked at all different types of martial arts and are so glad we chose Kimekai in Chelsea Heights. His coach Kenny is amazing & really cares for the well being of my son and has a natural ability to teach kids that is positive & calming in it’s delivery.I can not recommend this place enough.We are now part of a family, not just a business. My daughter has recently joined Kimekai Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and loves it. There are a few assistants in the time she's there so she is not lost in the crowd of learners.Her coach is friendly and engaging in his approach to teaching and constantly walking around coaching the kids and modelling Jiu Jitsu moves.For the time spent, it's great value for money with the 45-55minutes spent and the self defence life skills taught is well worth the time.

Kenny is a great teacher.My girls love going there and he's patient with all the kids. They learn what self defence is and what it means and want to learn more.They can't get enough of it.Very recommendable to young children who want to learn at self defence.

I have had an awesome experience with BJJ at Kimekai! The teaching and learning environment has been great. Very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Would highly recommend for people of all levels for BJJ!

Just finished my trial sessions and am definitely becoming a member here at Kimekai Chelsea Heights. Kenny, Nelson, and the whole team are so welcoming and helpful, and really take the time to show you what you’re trying to achieve. I’m certainly looking forward to my journey training here into the future.

Both my children train here under Kenny Horn.The most amazing coach that covers strong foundations and doesn’t miss fine detail. He coaches breathing, focus, teamwork, respect. Last but least he teaches them resilience to not be defeated, which are values that my kids takeaway for life.Can’t thank him enough.

I started my 6 year old son training with Kenny and few months ago, at the start both my son and I did not know a lot about BJJ but Kenny has welcomed son and shown is an awesome teacher. I've only been training here a few months (before covid) but I can already feel that the gym has a great community and people oriented feel.Coaches are really helpful and the curriculum is excellent.11/10!
