OK for simple jobs (installed new toilet cistern & two new outside taps and new tank pump), but they did not find where our shower drain was leaking despite under our house being soaked with water. I found the fracture in the terracotta pipe myself and called them back, they did a quick temporary seal and promised to quote on a proper fix, never heard from them again despite me calling their office to again ask for the quote. Based on that I would not use them again as a felt they were costly and didn't bother to find the leak nor quote as promised.

Had these guys out to replace the anode in an electric hot water heater. They billed me 90 minutes of labour for unscrewing the old anode and screwing in a new one. They then overcharged by $100 for the anode itself. When I asked why the anode was so expensive, they claimed they had accidentally added a 1" in front of the actual price (so $192 instead of $92). No apology was offered. Makes you wonder how many times such accidents happen.Will definitely not be using these guys again."

Duncan's are my go to plumbers - they're responsive and reasonably priced. The lads have always worked quickly so that it's rare I've had to pay more than the call-out fee plus the first half hour. Usually the main plumber is accompanied by a trainee which means the work gets done faster with two sets of hands.

We are very happy with their work. A few weeks ago one of the guys came out to fix the heater but needed an extra part. They came back a few days later when it suited us and fixed the heater without any dramas. We will happily call them again for any problems.

Hot water service failed at lunch time on Christmas eve. Jake attended site and new one was fitted by 4pm no hassles! Could not deal with better people, highly recommend them.

We had a problem with our ducted heating and tried to get our usual heater service agent to attend - they could not be bothered to even phone us back. Contaced another service agent who advised we would have to wait for a week. We then rang Duncan's, who booked us in for the next day. Anthony attended and sorted out the problem. We are so happy with the service provided, that we will change the servicing or our evap. cooler and our heating to Duncan's in future.

Have had them service my evaporative cooler several times. Very happy with the service provided. On the most recent job they dug in and diagnosed a fault with a minor part which was easily and cheaply replaced. Great communication throughout the process.

Was quoted for a cleaning service for our AC unit. Paid almost $300 for a technician to brush the dust off it with a dustpan and brush. Residue and dirt inside unit wasn’t cleaned. Contacted them to express our concern with the service and requested a phone call to discuss. No phone call, just an email that accepted no responsibility or fault of theirs. Was also overcharged and had to contact them about their invoice. Charged 90mins for a total call-out of less than 60mins.Just disappointing we’re out of pocket and still need to get another company to complete the works.(The technician seemed knowledgeable however he honestly admitted that they didn’t provide him with the info or the tools to clean it properly).Response to Duncan's Reply:I can confirm that you did not and have not called to remedy the issue (despite multiple requests via email).The 'discount' was infact not a discount as you incorrectly invoiced me an additional 30mins on the original invoice, then claimed to 'provide a discount' when I queried.Your offer for a technician to return and spray the fan-coil was not taken up as that was the least of our issues, and only your last minute suggestion once I expressed my concern with the original 'service'. I requested an internal clean of the AC unit, which your company evidently cannot undertake. I am ok with that, however I want to warn others that if they are seeking that type of cleaning service, they should look elsewhere.As I stated in my email correspondence, I don't doubt your company's expertise with plumbing and other services, however cleaning is just not your forte.
