This place has a really icky unhygenic feeling. The owner always moans about the competition and prices - why not just become a chinese takeawy. the area needs one. I can tell you all for a fact that the owner has been seen walking back from the local bread shop after hours with garbage bags full of bread, like the bags they donate to charity for the needy. It is highly likely that the bread in tomorrow’s lunch is stale. Everyone smokes at the sidewalk tables. Completely agree with TBomb & Hulya Savas.

Such lovely friendly people, I got 2 coffees then left the store and slipped on the wet gutter as I am of the up most uncoordination. I spilt my coffee all over my, the owner notied this and made me 2 new coffees for free, very nice people who's chartiy has not gone un noticed to a gump such as I.

Stopped in for a coffee and a pie on my way through to a job. Service was excellent, coffee was just right, pie was probably the best home made pie i have had and the spring roll was just crunchy and flavoursome!! Stop here if you want the best cafe food in Ivenhoe!!

what a rip off, $12 for a schnitzel roll the ingredients can be bought for about $3, food warmed up and greasy, extermely rude for free. never again, anything fried tastes of old burnt cooking oil

Good selection of fillings for fresh sandwiches and a few deli items. Cakes looked really tasty!Fuss free down to earth cafe with friendly service.

I was pleasantly surprised to come across this cafe in a time of need for a family function. Beautiful fresh sandwiches were prepared with a great range of fillings and bread types. The best part was the friendly and reliable service I received.

I asked for a latte, the owner didn't even grind the coffee fresh he already had prefilled the cup with coffee, I don't know if it was instant?? Then filled cup with milk that he heated up. $4.30 for this?? I took one sip and straight to the bin.Deserve zero star. Be careful check they are using fresh ground coffee.

Real score 2.2 out of 5.I had another cafe up the road in mind but saw this one from the street and thought why not. It’s a bit behind the times here and feels like a cafe from many moons ago. No table water offered. I ordered a potato and leek soup which arrived in a bowl with a humungous chip out of it (see photo). Everything else I could see and experience here was sort of in that vein. Problematic. The soup was just ok with lots of added salt and pepper. The toasted bread was basic and probably a few days old. The cafe needs renovation and a new business model is my feeling.
