The only place you can drive from the mainland to Tasmania.You'll arrive in the morning and leave in the evening (in most cases).Devonport is a great place to arrive at as you'll drive past the Methodist Paraonage on your way out into Tasmania.Make sure that you stop and visit the new cafe that will be serving from there!On the Spisit of Tasmania

Downloaded the GPX files and guide book, which provided very useful information. Detoured to Poatina to avoid some extremely rough track but after that rode the trail even southern sections when some suggested not to. At Golden Valley we arranged with the owners of the camping area to have a food parcel ready, similarly at Poatina.
