The library has an extensive catalogue of books and DVDS that coupled with a range of activities makes this place a excellent community facility. Their Email service for Holds " make it easy to track requested items. There are newspapers to read also."

Library itself is spacious but very poor and slow internet connection. Limited parking when it's busy.Great place to read or study but not so much if you want internet.

There are homeless parked in rusty vans in the carpark and sleep and eat inside with dirty bare feet and security and staff do nothing. Danger to health and safety and children.When u check times online then go here, they then have signs that say different times.Staff known to close early, i have been turned away with 10 minutes before close...They let disgustings do anything, today a woman was changing bandages on gross feet wounds, staff do nothing.

A quiet place which brings confort and peace to my soul. Books, DVDs, magazines and even puzzles to feed your imagination. Amazing friendly staff who helps you with the printing or anything you might need help for. Bring your work or study for a focus boost.

Good library, easy parking and nice location. Other language books section is at this library as well.

Very well situated opposite Pacific Fair, which is only slightly noisier and busier, and which also serves the purpose of occupying hyperactive kids for hours. Free WiFi is the main attraction - in a building filled with books you won't find anyone reading one - though 4GB of data might not be enough for some. Since no one is doing any quiet reading, feel free to be as loud as you like. Much of the time, the air is rent with the sound of phone calls being made, the chimes and pings of various notifications, people watching videos without earphones, kids playing computer games up the front, and Teams or Zoom meetings being conducted, not to mention the regular testing of infant lungs. In general, the hubbub is roughly equivalent to what you would find at a popular Broadbeach cafe, which is also likely to have free WiFi as well as serve tasty food and coffee - not true, alas, of the library. If you want either of those, then duck over to Pacific Fair, which also has free WiFi - for up to 12 hours! Judging by some of the loudness of exchanges between staff and 'customers' - in an earlier era we might have been called 'readers' but that is no longer appropriate (see above) - I suspect some of the librarians might be former bartenders. In fact, the rowdiness at times resembles that at the Lonestar Tavern, minus the pokies, though this may be something library management will consider in the future. But the friendliness of the librarians is not to be doubted - some will even play hide-and-seek games with the kids. Enjoy!

Very lovely staff member and security guard outside welcoming everyone. To save time take your library card with you to scan in when you enter and scan out when you exit otherwise there is the option to sign in with name,address,email,phone number and the time u enter before u enter the building and on the way out write your time out and pop in the box :)
