I love bunnings!! Ita a big one so they have a huge range to choose from. You'll need half a day though if you're like me! The plant section was fantastic..such healthy looking plants.

Thursday 20/04/23 I was served by James at the Trade Desk. He was on his own there with a continuous stream of customers. I needed his knowledge to determine and order the type and quantity of products I needed, totalling in excess of $2,000.00. He suggested I might be more quickly attended to at the orders desk at the front of the store, however the one staff member there not with a customer sent me back saying they were busy with phone clients. Returning, James completed the calculations required and I went to collect a few other things I needed right away. When I returned he had gone on a break (well deserved) and his replacement completed my transaction using the order he had saved on the computer. I commend him on his knowledge, attention to task and exemplary customer service manner. An asset to Bunning's business from whom others I have dealt with there could learn.

Just another Bunnings. A big one.They probably have it.If you can find it....When its not overcrowded....Or you can find someone to ask....Who might actually know...

Bunnings Tweed Heads is the best. They helped to load everything in my car. Such courteous & friendly staff.

Just love Bunnings, but this store would be the worst ever experienced, an absolute failure of management.For the last five days have had multiple visits to the store due to renovations, nothing improved with each visit, the most obvious being-1. Isles packed with items making it a hazard to negotiate with no staff in sight what ever tome I was there2. Store is a mess and most unpleasant to shop in, unlike other Bunnings stores.3.Interrupted two staff chatting to ask a question and the female just outright laughed and said “I don’t know” at least the young man tried to help but had no idea4.Young disinterested staff wondering around doing nothing or standing around chattingThere was however, a polite, engaging and helpful young woman at the self serve check- out who helped soften the whole experienceManagement really need to have a shopper experience in their store to realise just how unpleasant it is.Will certainly travel to the neighbouring Bunnings going forward

This is my local and I have been here often. Staff are usually really helpful and will always direct you to the right aisle. Unfortunately last weekend I ran into a ‘glaring’ problem with Bunnings South Tweed.I went out the back to get some wood cut but no one was there. No worries, I went back inside and stopped a staff member who said she would get someone to cut the wood. I went back outside and stood at the cutting site. After 10 mins I went back inside and grabbed another staff member to say I had been waiting for someone to cut my wood and no one has turned up. So they said ‘sure’ I’ll get someone for you so I went back outside to wait… another 10mins goes past with no one coming to help me so I got out my phone and ‘rang’ Bunnings Sth Twd! I told the girl who answered that I had been waiting for over 20mins for someone to help me out the back with cutting wood. She was really apologetic and said she wld get someone out there for me….. another 10+ mins goes past and I’m getting pretty fed up so I go back in again and asked an older gent to help me. He came out the back with me and then said ‘stay there, I’ll find someone for you’. He walked up and down the Tradies section and ended up talking to someone on security then came back and said that the guy that can cut the wood was just going off to his very late lunch (it was past 4pm) and that he would cut it when he got back… maybe another 15mins? I was over it by then but I was told (Bunnings take note!) that one of the Staff had left that usually works outside with security/cutter and that they would be replaced. Well that ‘never’ happened so there was only one person doing the job of x2 people. If they were cutting wood then they would have to ‘close down’ the tradie entrance/exit which they just wouldn’t do….. So why isn’t there anyone else who can cut wood? As this is a service that Bunnings provides, it’s not really acceptable for your Staff or customers to put up with this. Maybe I picked the wrong time/day but seriously anytime should have been the ‘right’ time. Maybe these guys are understaffed/overworked and unappreciated? Out of all this, not one of the Staff I spoke to was anything other than polite & courteous. Bunnings help out your Staff and you won’t lose customers.. well at least one, because I said thank you but I won’t wait ‘any longer’ to my helper and went home. I took off x2 ‘stars’ for this hoping that an update will be better.

Needs a better system for trades to load timber and larger items. 40 min wait to even enter the loading area. Better of sitting on the M1 to Burleigh.
