Had a really fantastic lunch here over the weekend! They have an amazing selection of tasty natural wines and the food was amazing! The chefs definitely know what they’re doing when it comes to super fresh and tasty creations! The front of house staff are also super welcoming and knowledgeable. Will definitely head here any time we are in Adelaide.

This little gem is located in Adelaide hills at the little village Summertown. The dishes are completely sustainable with all the veggies coming from their own gardens, are super tasty, the dishes are well seasoned and truly enhance the ingredients. The wine list is focused on the vin nature of Basket range and little international cool cuvée are there too. Service is on point with great attention. Highly recommended. Also the Bread is super...

Not impressed. Went here for our anniversary. As a vegetarian and vegan we checked the menu prior to booking, it stated that dietaries could be catered to. We booked several weeks ahead and noted that we had dietaries in our booking. We paid for the tasting menu as we were reassured by staff again we would be catered to. It was $90pp and we received the same meals as meat eaters but without the meat/dairy. This seemed lazy and a hardly filling meal. When we finished we explained that this was disappointing to the staff, but they were flippant and said it was because the restaurant uses local produce. We explained to staff they had a few weeks notice, but the staff just said they would tell the chefs. We spent $180+ $50 worth of drinks.Afterwards I sent an email to the restaurant to follow up, but didn’t receive a response. This isn’t really the standard I would expect from a restaurant charging fine dining prices.

Probably one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. We were a group of 7 with a complex level of the requirements (1 vegan, 1 vegetarian, 1 gluten free, 1 no fish, 1 no pork) - basically a night. But they accommodated and catered for us with no issue. The food was really authentic. You can’t miss it if you’re visiting Adelaide!

What a lovey venue. It was a perfect 27 degrees so we had a large table for two outside at the front of the restaurant.Service was prompt and each meal was uniquely presented along with an explanation of what it was and where it was sourced from, local and organic. The food was uniquely presented and at first portion sizes seemed small, that was not to be, we were very happy with the sizes. The flavours on each of the items were incredible. Will be back.

Hidden gem in Adelaide Hills. Customer service is good, staff seem very passionate about the food and natural wine they serve. Lovely ambience and delicious food! The eagle ray, peppers and pippies were the best! Would certainly recommend!

Fantastic selection of interesting, creative and quality dishes. They catered well for dietary requirements of my partner while we both had the tasting set menu. Highlights were the ham & brussel sprouts - nothing like any ham you've ever had, and the fried terrine. Super staff, fun wine list, this is the best restaurant I've been to all year.

Excellent dining experience, thanks for Chat GPT for pulling out reliable data and making trustworthy advice. Our first experience at the quite an iconic restaurant on the occasion of my wife’s birthday. Locally sourced sustainable and organic food cooked with passion and love of food. Outstanding service from the team. I would give 5 star for atmosphere if the temperature inside the restaurant was taken care of. There was AC on but did not feel warm in the cold winter. This could be a simple fix to make sure that each diner feels cosy and comfortable inside with the pleasant experience. Highly recommended.

What an amazing spot to watch the world go by! And the food here isn’t just amazingly delicious, it’s also ethically thought through. Local produce, use of the whole animal, extremely fresh etc. Its paddock to plate, with all the right amounts of modern culinary expertise. We arrived early at 5pm and they let us sit and enjoy some very strong cider for an hour before the dinner service commenced. This place has soul!

#2Recently returned to find that they are still producing amazing plates of food, using only the freshest local ingredients. One noticeable improvement was the size of the dishes. We partook in Chefs feed me menu and left with incredibly satisfied belly's. Will be back soon.#1There is so much to love about this place...First let me say that if most restaurants followed the same food philosophy as these guys the world would be a much better place haha. Today's savvy diners are ever more conscious about where their food comes from and eateries are being held accountable to a sustainable waste not want not" culture.Summertown Aristologist captures and exemplifies the essence of "seasonal" farm-to-table eating
