I hired Steven in september 2022 to remove asbestos cladding from my house and replace with colour bond. He told me he was licensed to remove asbestos and able to dump it. He handled the asbestos with bare hands, threw it from a ladder into a trailer and left debris all around my house endangering himself, his laborers and my family which included a 5 week old baby at the time. Safe work SA shut down his dodgy operation and it was revealed that he was in fact not licensed to remove asbestos. He was consistently late, would not show up and after being fed up with his lies I had to go and drag him out of bed to actually get him to start work. He came back after a lunch break smelling of alcohol and I observed open beer cans in his car center console. He over charged me for dumping fees, materials and did not supply the steel pearling as per his written quote. The above 5 star review is written by Mathew Swan, who is his best friend and also laborer who was taking part in the unsafe asbestos removal. If you are brave enough to hire Steven, ask to see all his licenses and insurance before he starts work. I was left out of pocket with an uncompleted job and extra asbestos removal and clean up fees from a proper company. If I could give zero stars I would.
