Cheap and friendly, but, felt really sick after eating this on Friday night. Myself, my 4 yo and wife all had brain fog and upset stomachs that night. Couldn't finish the food. Oil tasted old. Over cooked. Fish was mushy. I have been here about 10 times before but not anymore.

Hands down my fav fish and chip shop in Melbourne.Their chips and potato cakes are always ridiculously crispy. Never underseasoned and when you do ask for chicken salt- it's always the perfect amount (lots). Fish tastes fresh and their crumbed option is always amazing.The chip portions are massive and I love how everything comes wrapped in paper (the key to maintaining heat *and nostalgia. They even wrap their cold drinks to avoid any sogginess!!

Have been going here for almost 3 years. Love the food! One of the few Fish and Chips places in all Melbourne, where their deep fried foods are not over-cooked with batter and oil. Burgers are very tasteful. Thank You.

I’m not one of those people who ever gives 5 star reviews but man these guys are great. I’ve tried so many fish and chip shops and melbs and this is the first fish and chip shop in Melbourne I’ve tried that actually do proper fish batter. It will make you drool. The chips are perfection too! Thank you!!!!

This fish shop has awesome flake and the best batter I've had in years. Crunchy and crispy even an hour later and the flake was so well cooked. I got the flake pack - flake, seafood stick, potato cake, dim sim and chips - i have only one complaint - it was so so good i burnt my fingers because even though it was hot - so hot - it was so good I kept breaking off pieces while I was driving - thankfully I have 2 hands and can drive with one or both lol.Try it - it's really good.

The biggest regret I have from moving out of Fitzroy North is not living within walking distance of this shop. Best chippy, consistently fresh food, well priced, can't fault. Can be an epic line on a Friday...
