Accused me of stealing when looking at swimwear and underwear. Me and my 3 friends walked into the store and as soon as they saw us they were following us, telling us deals, and talking on their little microphone things about us. It’s just rude. As we were leaving one of the workers were following us and wait for us to leave and then proceeded to search our bags, clothing which I was fine with as we had nothing to hide , but when they realised we had nothing they didn’t say sorry and just kept accusing us of stealing.

Great store, variety was amazing and new clothes come in all the time. Staff are usually friendly and it’s a good place for teens to buy a cute new outfit. The store is quite big and has different sections for their clothes, undies and accessories.

Was served by staff member Brooklyn - really enjoyed her service, she was such a ray of sunshine; all cheerful yet professional with an infectious warmth that would put anyone in good mood. Really great HR choice- wish all retail staff were like her! Store-wise they have a great sales section at the back and were able to post me items that weren’t available in store without charging me shipping, which was great. Huge range, enormous store, I got three pairs of green gym shorts & a snuggly tennis jumper. Stoked!

Great men’s and women’s store. Has wheelchair access and staff friendly. Store usually pretty busy. They also sell shoes socks and bags.

I had just walked in the store at 1:40 pm, on todays date being 20/10/22I did not spot what I would like to purchase, as a frequent customer I have never had any issues at this store and have always been a valued customer.When I exited the store a male employee with a black shirt on and black hair in a mullet was standing with another employee and bellowed out in-front of other patrons at me in such a condescendingly disgustingly patronising manner “just a quick one mate, are we not good enough to spend your money on”I was shocked and still am, as someone that attends the facility and has brought so many products from this brand over the years, I said “no nothing today” and as I walked away and he yelled out again at me.The other employee began to walk away and I continued as-well and asked him and told him to “shut up, and stop being rude” he then yelled “I’m just doing my job MATE!”There was no interaction from either staff member that made me feel as if there was a chance in positive interaction or that they had been trained or obtained any form of customer service skills, the only skilled they showed was judgement.I don’t know if this is the new standard or culture of cotton on Charlestown but I am disgusted that you can have an employee stand on the door and speak to customers in such a belittling manner and with such disrespect, this is not positive for the organisations reputation and a horrible networking strategy.It was embarrassing and unnecessary, I suffer from Anxiety and this has made me feel so anxious I will not be returning to the store again, and that is a shame coming on Christmas time that a store I once promoted and would have purchased from is now tarnished.There should be action taken for this kind of behaviour, I would like to make it clear as your organisation also should; IT IS NOT !! your employees jobs to embarrass, mock, and besmirch any customers inside and ESPECIALLY!! outside of the premises, I am utterly disgusted.Your company states in Cotton ons inaugural report (the good report)OUR PURPOSE:We exist to make a positive difference in people’s livesOUR VALUES:Ever Better Personal Leadership People First Keeping It RealFunIntegrityA Note From Our CEOMaking a positive difference in people’s lives - it sounds simple, but it’s something we’ve always taken really seriously. Staff are lovely however it’s the lack of plus size options. IT’s disappointing to see that the only options for size larger than a 14 is on 4 clothing rack.

I was really disappointed in my most recent shopping trip to Cotton on. I’m not local so I often have to order online. However, I was going to be in the area so I decided to pop in. It’s been a few months since I last visited but I was still shocked to walk in and see that all plus size posters were removed and only 1 plus size mannequin remained in front of 3 tiny racks of plus size clothing. I wasn’t greeted by any staff members despite walking past 3. I even had one staff member constantly side eyeing me whilst I looked through my minimal options. I’m not sure what is going on but I was made to feel uncomfortable and unwanted to the point I don’t even feel comfortable shopping the brand online. I will say, the employee who served me was really sweet and ALMOST made the trip worth it. Where I would normally spend $250+ in this store, I left having only spent $50. I hope to see a change for the better in the future.
