Visited here on the Good Friday 9pm tour.They were late due to an unexpected private booking, so to make it up to us they took us in rooms not usually done on the tour.The tour guide was fantastic and provided so much knowledge in a way that was interesting and captivating.It was well worth the money given the tour length.Would love to visit again.

Had a good time on this tour. The tour guild was very knowledgeable about the history of the place. Very friendly and was really interesting. Even traveling solo, if you love history, do this tour. It’s comforting to know our health care system has improved since then. It would be incredible to have access to more buildings. If you expect to go into all of them, you only see three. Still, worth a visit.

The tour guide was lovely and funny and the history of the place was great, one h of a walk! 5000 steps on my padomiter only down side was it was a little gimmicky - an autopsy table from a different hospital in a room that never had autopsies done in it, a nursery with models of kids playing despite only one 5 year old who left afe a week in a room that never had kids in it (why not have toys in the men's workshop where they built things like that) also the tunnels mb keep that on the dL till you actually know

Booked online in advance for the 9pm ghost tour. There was 23 people in our group. The tour guide had some interesting stories and was quite engaging. We didn't have any 'encounters' which would have been fascinating. The asylum is well kept and we got to see a lot of the grounds during the tour. Overall it was an interesting activity if you're looking for things to do in Beechworth

The booking was not logged in the system so when we arrived the hosts quickly did their best to accommodate our large family group. The tour guide was informative however was a little too strict for us to spook each other being the entire group was family/related. If you're into the paranormal - go at night, if you're after a historic tour, best to go during the day if they offer daytime tours.

This was much better than I expected by FAR. Adrian was a phenomenal guide. The atmosphere is tangible and real. It's a dark place with a distinctive and disturbing history.

Only popped in to see what it was all about and i found out that there is ghost tours, paranormal activity tours plus they have Mayday panic room the only panic room in a mental asylum in the world!! Awesome! And people live there on the grounds in private buildings, so kool

WOW what an amazing experience. Nothing was fake or over exaggerated. Everyone I've spoken to that's been here has had a different experience, but all good experiences. I personally didn't experience anything other than a creepy photo but still had an awesome time

Buyer beware. Happy to take the money, After doing the paranormal tour in January,decide to come back for the ghost tour. After arriving in Beechworth, mixed up the date for the tour. Called the following day explaining what happened. The operator reponsed as l didn't notify them, it was classed as a non show. But after checking the website finding there were vacancies for the following Saturday and Sunday nights. Asked as our tour was already paid for, if we could join either night. Was told yes but will have to pay for the tour again. Try to call back again to resolve, no answer it seems more interested in their reviews Would not recommend
