Alan Dawes Private Chef

We were lucky enough to have Alan over for our post Wedding lunch, and couldn't have been happier. Each dish was incredible and even had people enjoying things they wouldn't normally enjoy eating (I still don't know how you made pumpkin so good!)I will be looking for any excuse to book Alan again, and will be recommending him to anyone looking for a private chef.Thanks again mate

Alan made our celebration amazing. The whole dinner party was seamless and stress free - from the initial contact and menu planning right down to the service and food. I love that he sources and uses local, seasonal produce and can tailor a menu to specific dietary requirements. Dining out is always difficult for me and there is often little choice. I cannot tell you the last time I have been able to have a dessert at a restaurant. Alan's food was amazing and far surpasses food we have had in many fine restaurants around the world (when one could travel!). Being able to have top quality Michelin standard food in the relaxing and safe environment of our own home was a real treat. All I had to do was set the table and organise some drinks, then sit back and watch him at work! Alan always replied promptly, turned up on time and was very professional. I love that he supplies the crockery and comes fully prepared. It was great to watch him cook and interact with him while he did so. It was like being at the Chef's Table but in my own home. And the kitchen was left spotless! We are so happy to have found him and look forward to having him cook again for us down the track.

We booked Alan for a 6 course private dinner for 8 and we weren’t disappointed. Fine Dining at home has never been so easy & so delicious. Alan was on time, cooked amazing food, explained everything amazingly and cleaned up when leaving. The night was seamless and we will definitely be booking a second dinner. Highly Recommend.

What a fabulous experience! The best service; the finest food and all in the comfort of our home. Our 9 course experience was immaculately plated and Alan delivered it to our table explaining the process and passion behind each dish. Using the best hand-selected local produce, Alan’s expertise created for us a flurry of wonderful flavours and had our tastebuds in raptures! Thank you so much Alan, you made this a celebration that my family will never forget.

We had Alan come and cook the 6 course degustation menu for us last night for my 70th birthday, and had a fantastic experience. One of the best meals we have ever had.His reputation is well deserved.The flavours were amazing and presentation spot on.Alan took the time to explain how he created each dish.I have just purchased his digital cookbook and feel inspired to replicate some of the taste sensations (or just get him to come again!)Thanks Alan for making the occasion so memorable.Barbara and Ian

Chef Alan Dawes recently came to our home and dished up superb 5-star food for my fiance and I. Delicious eats and great conversation we'd have Alan back cooking up a treat anytime. Thanks mate, you really made our evening.

Getting to know him on the night seems I have known him for a long time, he has another to do for my partners 50th and this will not be the last. Awesome bloke with awesome food and just for an extra few $ get hisWife to do the decor you won’t be disappointed- 12/10
