An amazing bookshop with an adventurous community feel. Enjoy a coffee, browse through the well-organized books, or just wander through and see what adventures and displays catch your eye. One of the best bookshops I’ve been into.The coffee is very nice, and they also have an option for oat milk if you like it. The cakes are delicious too. So order a coffee & cake, grab a seat at a table in one of the many book nooks, and savour the moment surrounded by literature!

Fantastic range of books, the Ancient History section is especially excellent. The whole store has a really nice vibe and the staff are great. A dangerous place to visit for book lovers and students!

Fantastic bookstore to deep-dive into. Owner was very charming - she’s curated a great collection at good prices. Rare books available.Recommend you visit sooner rather than later since they plan to retire. Currently 50% everything.

Boobooks is a fabulous second hand bookshop. Large premises with very big range of books, small Cafè and many activities such as backgammon, chess, music at scheduled times. Great art deco building that used to be a bank.

Every time we pass Armidale we always stop at the bookstore. Our favorite place. They have a big selection of books. They are always open which is great. Coffee in the store is almost up and running.

A rare gem in this little town and perhaps anywhere else! Extensive collections of books, relaxing and interesting setup for great coffee and cake! Feel like enjoying coffee in a museum where we can actually touch the displayed items.

We walked past Boobooks on a Saturday evening and was delighted to see it open on Sunday in cooperation with the monthly Armidale markets on the mall. We popped in and myself and my avid reading daughter both found a book to buy. We added this purchase with coffee and hot chocolates which we all enjoyed. I had a lovely chat with the staff who know their books and gave some great recommendations on true crime stories which I can never pass up! I highly recommend popping your head in and having a browse of this gorgeous book store. *picture was taken through the window in the evening. Much brighter and enticing when open.
