Was at this place to get a puncture fixed, they where quick to attend the issue and prior to taking my car inside the shop, I have clearly explained them, that this is an air leak from a road side puncture repair job I have done in the middle of nowhere. They where all good about it however after removing the tyre, the person who attended me and the ?manager of the business changed their tone. As per them using a tyre plug is illegal and because I have used it on my tyre, its not repairable anymore. This was incorrect as I later contacted Supercheap auto (I bought the repair kit from supercheap) and Vicroads to confirm this. As per vicroads, one can use a plug in kit as a temporary measure and there is nothing illegal about it. When possible, the temporary plug need to be removed and the tyre need to be permanantly fixed by a professional. I wonder how they call themself industry leader when they have no clue about the industry standards.Edit: Thanks to the business for taking time to reply here, and to your remark on my details not in your system, those employees who assisted me ( or rather wasted my time) never bothered to do any such formalities.

Got a new tyre yesterday and the staff were great and very helpful. They checked another issue for me and made sure my car is safe, it was a simple fix but I appreciate their extra effort and my car now steers great. Really appreciate finding honest people to help me with my car.
