Having decided to sell the house we talked to estate agents from several companies.We decided to have Derek Farmer of McGrath, Neutral Bay, as our agent and we did not regret the choice.We liked his approach to selling and found him to be a ‘straight shooter’ He was up front from the beginning of the 5 week campaign. Throughout that time he kept us totally informed, with constant updates of the opinions, both good and bad, of the people looking at the house. We ended up leasing our property, and during that time Derek stayed in touch with us - always keeping us informed on market activity as well as seasonal changes in the market etc. We had three agents value our property at the time Derek did, and he was the only one who stayed in touch.
