Just Cuts

My reason to leave this feedback is to see changes in the operating system of just cut. It is the convenience of hair cut with no appointment but if a customer is willing to wait to be seen by the stylist , she wants , it should not be such dramatic experience like I experienced today. I honestly felt so bad for Emma who was trying to implement the rules but it wasn’t going to work for me and her attitude towards the “ customer has the right”was zero.Because they are right about their business rules but I have the right to choose to be the customer there or not. So I hope some changes happen to relax the staff and give satisfaction to customers.I have been a long time customer to this business throughout different owners. My only day off during the week Is Monday and every time I went to this branch under the new ownership, Ashleigh happened to style my hair. So I got used to her as well as I could see two major characters in her that I lived. 1- very good at delivering the style you asked for 2- always quiet and not asking questions and have a conversation that theses days some may think it is great customer service.So today I went there and when I didn’t see Ashleigh, I took a sit to see if she is coming back from a break or staring at 9 since I was there early.I was approached by Emma , she asked me if I am waiting for a hairdresser since she just came back from her morning tea and Sophie was the only one there and already with a customer.I replied I am waiting for a friend as well as seeing if Ashleigh works today.She responded Ashleigh is in a meeting and she doesn’t know when it finishes and we don’t have appointments wit is a walk in . And some more explanation about no request and so on.I said I have no request and I don’t want to be in a Q i wait till Ashleigh comes back from her meeting whatever time it takes then I will be in a Q to see her.Her reaction was not respectful and gave me the impression that follow our rules or F off.When Ashleigh came from meeting , Emma approached her in a secretive manner and explained to her how I am waiting.Then I said to Ashleigh Emma did explain the rules but it is my day off I am not in a hurry I can wait till you are available. She explained the rules again. I said I understand the rules, however I have the right to choose to get a haircut here or go elsewhere. I like a haircut here and I would like it with you, if possible I would if not I can walk away. She gave me the feedback card, in a mean while I could see Emma having a smirk so I asked her to not give me that look , that is where she started to talk back when I said I don’t like her customer service. Apparently she is the best there as she said it herself and when i disagreed by saying does not show in her face that she is friendly, she said what about you and continued by swearing.Then she left , she came back after 5 min thinking I am gone but I was having a haircut so she was so disappointed to see me and left for the time I was there.

I was previously a long-term customer of this business until yesterday.When I asked for a specific stylist to cut my hair (due to having extremely long hair and having used said stylist for years) I was refused and told I wasn't allowed to choose which stylist did my hair.Despite being happy to wait until they were free, I was told this was their last customer of the day (at 4:15pm) and was made to feel unwanted as a paying customer.I am extremely disappointed and disgusted in the way I was treated by the staff on that day, especially due to being a long-term customer.CLEARLY they do not need the business, nor do they value their customers wishes.I do not recommend this business whatsoever.

Mardi was fantastic. My daughter was shy and embarrassed but Mardi was able to quickly make her feel comfortable and relaxed. She listened to what my daughter wanted and was able to transform her into the happiest girl in Cleveland. My girl has never been excited about her hair and now she can't wait to show it off to everyone she knows. Thank you also to the other worker, I didnt catch your name, for trimming my hair aswell. Two very happy customers. Will recommend

Had a great haircut, best I have had for a while. The service by Emma was great and attention to detail throughout was a standout. Will be back there for my next haircut for sure!

I cannot rate the team at Just Cuts Cleveland highly enough. I always receive professional caring service with a smile. The lovely Emma gave me the hair cut I have wanted for years but no one could achieve. She took the time to look at what I wanted and explained how to achieve that look. She was so beautiful and extremely professional. I will be back! I am one very happy customer. Thank you Emma.

Fantastic! Went in for a quick haircut and Ashleigh did a beautiful job. Very quick and friendly, will definitely be going back.

I used to get my hair trimmed here by Kym and moved from the area was there visiting today and to my surprise Kym is still there so popped in for a trim and a catch up with her. She does an excellent cut I feel like I might keep driving back out there. I can thoroughly recommend her.

I asked for a trim so I could still plait my hair down one side. I went from long hair to hair above my shoulders that will not stay in a pony tail much less a plait. I was appalled as I had used the same person for the same trim I asked for with no problems. I will not return to this store again.

We arrived at 4:40 knowing that they closed at 5pm for an 8 year old boys cut. We were told that they need 20 minutes to cut hair and they are now closed. He told us to come back tomorrow to which I replied we were going away. He shrugged and just stated again that they were closed. He even suggested I try Bloomfield street barbers. I might also add that someone else was getting their hair cut by another staff member and this staff member was standing there doing absolutely nothing at the time. Despicable customer service. I won’t ever be back and I’ll be telling everyone to steer clear.
