Hydra Holiday Units

Loved our stay in Hydra ,close to boardwalk ,cafe's and shops ,a lovely apartment with great view of Merimbula, bed so comfortable and pillows too would definitely stay there again.

This property is near the top of a reasonably steep hill. This means you will either need a vehicle or be fit enough to climb the hill while carrying your luggage. The benefit is that it affords some good views. The property is not new but our apartment (#4) was perfectly clean and quite comfortable. Bev, the manager, is an excellent communicator. Overall, a great place to stay to enjoy Merimbula.

The owners are lovely. Great rooms, just bring your own linen or you will need to hire.

The owner is amazing and so nice. Extremely clean units and amazing sea and town views. Perfect location. Would highly recommend.

Nice place for couples and not more than 3 people. Small accommodation yet homely. Cleanliness to the utmost. You don't need to bring towels and sheets. However bring milk and coffee because what they provide is too little. Parking is small and congested. Within close proximity to the main market.

Very nice place clean and comfortable, will stay there again.

Ok so we didn't stay here but we did book here. Unfortunately they made a double booking which U would think would make a bad review. Bev the manager seen the double booking few days prior, found a similar apartment and had it sorted before even contacting me. The customer service has been 5 star and I would book hydra again Ina heartbeat cause of the incredible service

Trying to stay here was one of the worst experiences I've ever had. My family and I live in Nethercote and booked an apartment on January 3rd (Friday) for Saturday and Sunday as a result of the extremely dangerous fires and the evacuation of our home. Our booking was confirmed immediately and again on Saturday morning after we confirmed an early check in. We drove in with our car packed at 11am and all the parking spots were taken so I called the manager/owner Karen who had no solution to the issue and was not on site to deal with any issues. The apartment was locked, so we called Karen again only to discover that she had given the apartment away to someone else and had NOT called to let us know at any point despite having ample opportunity.Honestly? I'm extremely disgusted and disappointed with Karen and the situation, I can't exaggerate how devastated we felt after learning what she'd done without consulting or informing us. I don't blame the evacuees, but there are multiple evacuation centres in the area and we had also become evacuees. The fact we were not called or updated on the situation still shocks me. If we were notified on Friday, or at all, I would not be nearly half as appalled. Karen's pathetic communication and organisational skills left us stranded in our time of need. We were lucky to have found somewhere else in time.
